All in all old people hold a dear place in my heart. One of my all time favorite things is going to spend time with my grandmother, catching up on whats going on the both of our lives. They all tend to be such sweet and generous people at heart. Every elderly person I come in contact with seems to be so interested in my life, giving advice for the years to come, and telling stories from their past that are important to them. Although they are not all like this, it seems to be the habitual trait amongst this generation. Our youth, including myself, tends to put the elderly under a stereotype that seems to be the truth amongst the elderly as a whole. Despite the minority outlier, the elderly seems to be all of sweet, generous, concerned, well organized, slow to heal, inherently tender, and more wealthy. I feel that I do practice ageism. Ageism isn't a bad thing in my opinion, but just a handful of observations about a specific age groups that tends to be true among a whole generation
