I write this advice though it’s a bit late

So you can see yourself for just how great

Because you’re always tryin’ so hard to fit in 

With people who really don’t care about your wins

You worry about your hair and the way that you dress

But those things don’t matter, your future self can attest 

And you stress over things that I promise will pass

When you look back, 7th grade will seem like a flash

Those people who stay with you may be there when school ends

But there’s many yet to meet that you will call dear friends

School may seem tough and feel like a waste 

But I promise that knowledge builds at such a fast pace

And all that you learned through the times that were hard

Are lessons that you’ll carry close to your heart

So keep yourself focused because I know you’re strong

The things yet to experience will be worth it all along

Be who you are and don’t worry what others say

Let your light shine bright each and everyday

I wish you could see the person you have become

Although I have almost finished seventh grade Already I want to give my past self some advice

You always procrastinate and you still get the job done but at what cost.

You are always stressed and you have so much work to do because you procrastinate.

Now don’t get discouraged this will all pay off when you get out of college and you get a great job!!

Never ever give up 7th grade me you are awesome and amazing.

Life has its ups and downs

But it is the way we handle it that our life changes

Middle school is tough 

People judge you

Laugh at you 

But don’t let that get to you

Be brave and ignore them

Because you are you

And nothing is going to change that

You might think that school is a waste of time

But look down history

Famous people had to study 

So dear 7th grade self

Grab life by the horns

And persevere

And family beach trips, they’re a blast

Listen to your teachers because they care about you

Work hard and learn from your mistakes, that’s all you can do

If I had had the choice and the advice I am giving you now,

7th grade would have been easier,

Feel yourself,

Feel who you are, 

Not someone else,

Playfully flitting through the trees,

Playing with your hair,

Evading everything's grasp,

Flowing AROUND a boulder,

Finding a way around,

Burning everything that tries to capture it,

Never going out,

Changing,

Growing,

Not letting other people chose her path,

(Some of these quotes are from one of my favorite songs,  When You Grow Up, Your Heart Dies.  It is actually a good song, saying to not let your heart die when you grow up.)

A mistake, life doesn’t stop

       I understand that this was hard and this is not the end so far. Please take the time to persevere, and soon the end of it will be near.

        Don’t fuss about the tough,

Though it may seem rough. Make your stories glisten, even if they’re not around to listen.

So please don’t worry. This year was a hurry. Forget about your frustration of past, for knowledge and happiness will always last!

I know it’s sad you have to leave but remember all the things you have done

From working hard in school, to working online, from working outside, to working inside, to making new friends, and even Building a new porch with them

But I must say not all good things have happened in the year 

Of the 7th grade

We’ve lost someone oh so very dear to us and as a nation lost

Lost a couple more

But that goes to show that what you do affects those around you that you might 

Not even know

But what you do today will soon affect you in the days to come

So work hard so it will pay off in the future that is yet to come

But don’t get sad because I know that you come out a better person 

Then you came into the 7th grade

But before you go I want you to know that all you’ve done will soon pay off

But you might not know  with all good things must come to an end so enjoy what you have while it’s here

A lot of bad things are going to happen to you this year.

Drama starts, the stress gets worse, you lose people, you get stuck in your in house and it feels like torture.

But lots of good things happen too.

You won’t be as shy, you find amazing things, and amazing people.

You learn who you are and who you want to be.

You learn you don’t owe the world a cent.

You learn to love the things we have but don’t deserve.

You learn to sing, and act, and let go of things.

You realize that we all live and eventually die and you realize why that’s important.

You realize you don't have to be afraid or sad because in the end it’s all worth it.

You realize you can have your own opinion and fight for things you want to fight for.

You understand that everyone is selfish in some way but they don’t have to be.

You understand that you’re important and that you have a purpose.

You understand that you must do everything in your power to make people happy.

You know how the world works.

You know that no matter how great someone seems, you are equal to them and they are equal to you.

You know you don’t know everything, but you know this,

Bad things happen. But this world is a beautiful place to live and you cannot take that for granted.

This is the best and worst year of your life. Enjoy it. You’ll never get it again.

My heart beating fast

Old fishing memories lighten up my soul 

As I twitch my Daiwa fishing pole

My whole entire body is shook

Every time I feel a bite and set the hook

Had this dream ever since I was seven

Every second fishing feels like heaven 

Every time I get a top water blowup

Excitement makes me want to throw up

I have all different variety of rod and reels

Which all supply me with the best of feels

Everytime I pitch my jig

Anticipating the bite of a pig

Catfish,carp, bass, and bream

I love to catch them all as long as they swim!

Ah 7th grade,

the place where self-identity can degrade

Where judgement of a image triumphs, 

And false friendships bloom

But all one needs is a path it follow, 

for it does no good to sit and wallow

Get up, work hard, go chase a hidden dream

And watch your sadness flow down the stream

All that matters is the effort put in,

to something you love like soccer or swim

Be kind to all even if their not, 

because some need the support that you got

Look to the future not the past,

cause one looks for dreams while the other looks for what happened last

Enjoy it while you can for it doesn’t last long,

 feels as though it goes by like your favorite song

You dance, you sing and then it's gone.

 because there is a lot of pressure on you but all of that pressure 

is pressure you assign yourself 

 But you need to trust yourself, trust yourself to make good grades, trust yourself to be yourself, trust yourself so you don't make the wrong friends.

 You must have courage, be kind and trust yourself, lean on others as well as allowing them to lean on. you be the person that you want to be.

You also must have courage in yourself. how are you supposed to do anything in life without confidence

And so i say these words to you today hoping they will inspire you and help you to be a better person

You’ve come so far you know,

And it shows everywhere you go

You tried your best, even on the hardest tests

You studied till you made sure you got it

You've come so far you know, because you “just kept swimming”

I wish I would have known that when I was your age

But Before I go there's something I want you to remember,

Just keep swimming, because you’ll gain so much more than you ever bargained for!

May seem hard

During this time

You can push through

And make it through

You don't need to fit in

But you can be yourself

People may judge 

And people may stare

But as long as you're happy

You can push through

You may be bad at your hobby

But with practice

You can get better

So don't give up

Cause if you do

You won’t get anywhere

I remember how much you would say You only live once or say how much you have to make it count, and it’s true, you have to make every moment be your moment, a moment that will help you!

And although I know things can be rough, I believe that you are tough.

And I do remember things you do, all of the things you did to make others feel blue.

So please remember to take my advice, people will help you if you are nice.

I always want you to put a smile on someone's face, even all of the people who called you silly names. Everyone has different opinions from you, and you need to let that breeze through. 

Even when you were hungry, even when you were tired, you were the friend who helped everyone else's desires.

That is good and all, but you have to see, it is also important to help me.

You’re going to learn that everyone matters, even those who cause the most shatters. 

Try your best at everything you do, and you can always make it through 

You might be different from your parents or your sister, that doesn't mean you can go away and not miss her. 

Keep in your mind all of this advice, and maybe spend a little less time on a device. 

You won’t get forever to play, so don’t sit around doing nothing every passing day. 

How do I know that all of this is good and true?

Well it’s because I know what’s good for you.

Just ask for whatever you need and get the help that you desire.

Not everyone is looking at you,

No one is judging you on the way you look.

Everyone has their own issues, 

We're all just trying to get through.

Take your time and enjoy the world,

7th grade will only become a small memory. 

This grade year may be small but for some people it has a big impact on them,

No one deserves the hate that is given and you don't know the whole story

The people that are so important now will only get smaller in the future,

“Friends” ends with the word end their not all their made up to be.

Everyone makes mistakes,

Just don't let them happen again

Use this time to the best of your ability,

Then in the near future you will be rewarded.

I am writing this advice knowing what the future will hold

Therefore take this advice

Just do your best and you will do fine

Be the kid who goes and sits with the kid eating by himself

Or be the kids who buys a kid a cookie

Don't feel bad for thing you can't control

Bad things are going to happen it's part of life

The time you have in school is pressicuse I now realize that...

. Never let other people kill your vibe,

 just be you and have fun with middle school… 

It goes fast.

 Everything happens for a reason.

Years later your brand of clothes is just a distant memory.

The times you cried late into the night were not signs of a weakness but steps to greatness.

Focus on your grades more than your image and go with your heart other than the thoughts of others who may claim to be your “friends”

You have people who will tear you down but they're the ones who have a further distance to fall.

The life you have is a journey not a race, so you shouldn’t waste it. You stop and you take it in and keep your head up.

That’s the only way to see where you're going and head there straight on.

Don't take shortcuts in life, because you will not reach the sky,

To reach the sky, it starts by getting up, and then you fly.

And if you want to fly, you have to start by believing,

And to believe, you have to strengthen yourself.

Always reach for the stars, and don't let anyone bring you down,

Reach for the sky, and don't let the water make you drown.

Make sure everyone, is helped first, because you will always feel good,

When someone has achieved their dream.

Everyone has the same dream, to be in the NBA or the NFL, but my dream,

Is to change the world, from one person to the other.

Whether it's making their Airplane seats, or saving a cat from a tree,

Your dreams will always be accomplished, when someone is happy.

Now, it starts from you.

You are in charge of yourself.

That shortcut you saw, blow it away,

Because you take it your way.

Enjoy every day, as it may be your last.

Help others enjoy it too,

As that may be their last too.
