The girls do not have a say in whether they do or do not want to get married. Their arranged marriages cause problems like getting taken out of school and not getting the education they need. Also many of the girls that are getting married have not gone through puberty or just finished puberty so their bodies are not ready to have children. They are forced into having kids and some girls even die. The consequences of this issue are fatal. Now they are trying to pass a law that states that a girl must be 17 years old to get married.
