Hugo Cabret

I read Hugo Cabret and the author of the book is Brian Selznick.

The main characters in my book are Hugo and Isabelle. The side characters in my book are Papa Georges, Etienne, the station inspector, the step mother, and uncle Claude.

The book is setting in the book is 1931, Paris France.

The pros in my book are the way Hugo loved his father enough to complete the automaton, the way Isabelle helped Hugo get his notebook back (That is kind of a pro and a con), And how nice Isabelle's step mother is. The con's of the book are the way Papa Georges stole Hugo's notebook, How the station inspector is always crazy about Hugo, The way Hugo steals from the toy booth to build the automaton, and how Papa Georges was very sick.

The problem is that Hugo can't seem to fix the automaton because Papa Georges won't give back his notebook.

The way he solved the problem is by having Isabelle get the book and he is going to tell her what is in the book but that is where another problem started.

The next problem is that he doesn't want to tell her because he doesn't fully know her and he became so attached he was to scared to tell her.

The way that problem was solved was a fast and easy way. Isabelle followed Hugo to his little apartment room and so he told her about the automaton and the backstory of why he is so attached to it.

And the final problem is that when he finally fixed the automaton it drew a strange picture that he felt like he has seen before but he can't remember where he saw it and also the automaton wrote the signature of Papa Georges and they just can't figure out why.

And that now leads to the final solution. Isabelle's step mother lives with Papa Georges so her and Hugo decide to go to her stepmothers place and try to figure out why. Isabelle found a crack in the armiore and so she ripped it off and found a box and inside the box was a bunch of pictures drawn by Papa Georges and then they figured out that Papa Georges made movies and the picture was from the movie, A Trip To The Moon made by Papa Georges.

Hugo has changed emotionally when his father died. He changed because him and his father would always have a great time together. They would go to the movies, and he would give Hugo broken clocks for him to fix, etc. But then after that, Hugo has been a little more serious and cautious about stuff like about Isabelle. He was very cautious about her and until he fully met her he is now fine with her.

                      Opinion

I loved the book as much as I love lumpia. I loved the book mostly because of the story line.

Out of a one to ten scale I would give it a nine and a half. I rated it a nine and a half because there were too many picture, yes it did give it a little more life especially in the beginning and the end like your at a movie theater.

Yes I do recommend this book to Jolo and Kamren out there who likes a little mystery in a book with one of the best story lines out there.

The book did make me feel

Stein is one of my favorite series of book because of how it is so out of the ordinary. It was funny how she made a monster out of ham, bolony, and salami. I would rate this book 8/10 because it was kind of short. I recommend this book to Jolo because he kind of likes weird books.

Frankie Pickle is obviously an adventure book. To be honest, I would rate the book a 6/10 because it was quick and every thing started at the beginning and stay throughout the whole story how I would have gave it a higher rating if something new happened in the middle or the end. I have no idea who to recommend this book to.

Hugo Cabret ---------------------->

Darth Paper was a really good book but it probably made some people not want to read the series anymore. The reason I said that was because of how Dwight/Creator of Origami Yoda was suspended and that might have made people sad because when I asked people who there favorite character was they would either say Dwight or Harvey. I would rate it a 8/10 because of that.

Angry Penguin is a book in my book club and it was pretty good until you read the same two last chapters for four days. I would rate the book a 7/10 because I doubt that a human can say something in so called (Penguinease) to another penguin and have it attack or love you.

Super Diaper Baby 2 was of course a funny book just like the rest of the Captain Under Pants series. I mainly liked the way the shop owner of the toilet paper shop just finished making the sign and then Petey just takes it. I
would rate the book a 9/10. I also recommend this to anyone who isn't offended to underwear.

Wireless Weenies is a amazing book because it's a book with multiple stories in it such as, A Litter Bit of Trouble and The Rarest Of Monsters. Each story is different, some are scary and some are funny and there are multiple books of the weenie series too.

Study Hall Of Justice was a really good book. It had a surprising ending, mysteries, and comedy. I found it pretty funny that everyone was a kid, like Clark Kent and I love the way Joker's name is Joe Kerr. So what happened was that Bruce Wayne went to a new Academy called Ducard and they promoted being bad and Bruce thought that was weird and so Bruce started investigating. He found out a lot, but the main thing he found out was that the principle was turning the kids into super villains and so Bruce got the cops and got the principle arrested and Ducard Academy went back to normal. I would rate the book a 10/10 if the book was longer, but it's a little short and so i'm rating it 9/10.
