         <description><![CDATA[<div>A sentient (but mute and immobile) rabbit made of china doesn't know how good he has it until his child-owner accidentally loses him. Through a series of unfortunate events, the rabbit goes through the hands of several people, seeing many walks of life. He learns to appreciate those around him, which in turn allows him to love himself, and he is eventually reunited with his original owner, about two decades after he was initially lost. </div>]]></description>

They don't finish a game of hide and seek, which causes them to be trapped in an alternate universe, getting chased by their deepest fears. In order to return home, the protagonist and his friends must learn to face their fears and open up to others, which allows them all to improve upon themselves in various ways. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A child (Lymon) faces some troubles at home, and changes locations and guardians several times. Through these changes, Lymon must learn to cope with the different emotions he feels and find something to get him through the hard times. He finds his something to be music, and he learns to make the best of the situations he's dealt and to appreciate those who truly care for him.&nbsp;<br>This made it into my top 5, as this seemed like it would make the most entertaining movie as the scenes played out in my head. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A boy struggles with speaking, and feels embarrassed when he must speak about his favorite place in front of his class. But he thinks back to a time when his father took him out to a river, and compared the beautiful asymmetry of the flowing water to his speech, which gave the boy the confidence to speak of this place to his class.&nbsp;<br>This book explores personal growth in the form of learning to love oneself, showing that someone is not lesser because of their differences.&nbsp;<br>This book is very well written and illustrated, and tells a very heart warming story, placing it in my top 5. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A very young child accompanies her father on a walk to the laundromat, but on the way home she begins to throw a tantrum. Unable to effectively communicate, it isn't until they return home when the parents realize that her beloved stuffed rabbit is missing. After a run back to the laundromat, the child is reunited with her toy and she speaks her first words.&nbsp;<br>This book gives a great example on how a child can safely explore the world around her, and promotes a conversation with the younger audience about communication. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Yumi, a middle school girl, finds herself in a comedy camp from her dreams, but her teacher and idol mistakes Yumi for another student, allowing her to attend without being enrolled. Yumi tries to balance this, studying for a major test, the family restaurant failing, and balancing a rocky relationship with her parents and sister, until it all comes crashing down. She ends up saving the restaurant with a great idea, and mends all the relationships that she jeopardized.&nbsp;<br>Yumi's biggest flaw was a lack of confidence, which lead her to continue lying to her parents, teacher, and new friends from camp. Through the wise words of her parents, tutor, and camp instructor, Yumi builds confidence in the end, and learns to communicate her feelings much more effectively.&nbsp;<br>The book was well written and the plot progression was done well, which got this book into my top 5. </div>]]></description>

While staying in his room, the boy travels to a far away land filled with other "terrible" creatures like him. After a while, the boy decides he'd rather not live there, and returns home to eat his dinner.&nbsp;<br>This book shows that it's totally normal for a child to act a little wild at times, and that exploring his imagination can be a great outlet for that energy. </div>]]></description>
