You have to wear make-up and dress in fancy costumes.
It is not a contact sport, whereas Rugby League is. 
Dancing is tailored to thin and petit, which is not a typical males body type.

As a class we think these sports are more equal than other because they are not necessarily classified as physical/ contact sports nor as they considered rough or dainty. Males are more likely to excel in physical environments, where woman should look after themselves and be mothers.
Men need to prove themselves to other men that they are stronger and more competitive.
Access to males sports is better 
It is a stereotype for boys/ males to play sport.

As a class we think these sports are not equal because they have very specific roles, which have always been dominated and characterised by males. However, this is slowly changing as time goes by as females are now getting more opportunities to play male dominated sports such as AFL, cricket, football & rugby league/ union.
