<title>When the liberation of Saigon occurred, Mrs.Phan was around the age of four. The Liberation of Saigon was when, Saigon(now Ho Minh City), fell to North Vietnam, on April 30th, 1975. The event marked the end of the Vietnam war. During the war, the United states had armies in Vietnam, to defend south Vietnam from North Vietnam. Saigon ended up falling, because South Vietnam&#39;s army wasn&#39;t capable of resisting North Vietnam&#39;s army, leading them to fall to communist forces(North Vietnam). Today Vietnam is a communist country, because of this event. Thankfully none of Mrs.Phan&#39;s family members were hospitalized, killed, or injured, due to what had happened.</title>

<title>In some cases, attempting to translate a term used in Vietnamese; having English as your second language is quite challenging. Some terms in Vietnamese translated in English does not make the correct type of sense, because you cannot identify the correct meaning in English. Which was why Mrs.Phan kept her her answers short, and straight to the point. The interview was a valuable experience, because I now know more about my best friend&#39;s mom.</title>

<title>After the interview, My only regret was not asking detailed, and follow up questions. I feel like if I had asked better questions, I would have know more about her. The interview would have probably been more interesting, and longer if had done so.</title>
