She is strong, loyal, and perseverent. What I like about Cienna is that even though she did not agree with what she was doing she still stuck with it because she had loyalty like no other and did not want to be selfish to only save herself.
Thane Kyrell- Master pilot and former imperial officer. He decided he did not agree with the empire anymore so he joined the rebellion. He is a very good pilot and was second in his class at the Imperial academy. The two were inseperable and when the Imperials did a show off parade where Cienna and Thane were  introduced to a new dream. This dream would propel them to the Imperial academy where they would graduate top of their class. It is from here on in the book that unfortunate events take them places you would never expect out of a Star Wars book.  Hope-That one day they will see each other safely and spend the rest of their lives together but it's kind of like a Romeo and Juliet story with the fact that they are never allowed to see each other.
   Fear- Without fear, life can be dangerous and the main characters are always living in fear of being caught not being loyal or for any crimes they may have committed.
   Power of corruption- The corruptness of the Empire stays around the entire book with their evils trying to 🤬 entire armies with none of their own soldiers at expense.
Self-reliance- Both characters take it upon themselves to get out of situations and lead others at the same time.

This is important because it leads up to Cienna becoming the captain of the  'Star Destroyer' known as the "Inflictor" and it is also a learning experience on how to become a better person/ pilot.
2. When Thane abandons the Empire for the Rebellion. It shows us the different feelings of how Cienna reacts when she finds out about Thane abandoning the Empire and how she was going to deal with him being gone.
3. When Cienna first sees the Death Star destroy an entire planet which started to make Cienna lose faith in the Empire
4. Cienna witnessing the building of a second Star Destroyer which is important because this made Cienna lose every ounce of the Empire that she served in and she began to feel trapped with them.
5. When Thane kept Cienna from dying on her Star Destroyer- This kept the plot of the story going and transitioned to the end of the book

2. The main event in this novel is like a knife because many characters die as well as Thane abandons the Empire to be in the Rebellion.
3. The writing style in this novel is like a graphic novel because the imagery is so deep that you can almost see the pictures on the page instead of words
4. The novel is built like a skyscraper because it storts off at the bottom with a strong support and narrows up towards the goal towards the top.

2. One heap of hope(The empire is trying to take over the galaxy and they need hope to stop them)
3. 5 cups of understanding when people are not in the mood to talk(People kept talking to the main characters while they were having a rough time and they hated that)
4. 3 cups of unwitting bravery( to survive the empire you have to be willing to fo a lot of crazy things)
5. 2 cups of humble honesty(you need to always tell the truth)
6. 1.5 cups of superior loyalty(Keeping your loyalty to someone of mass destruction can be difficult so it is important that you keep your loyalty true)
7. 6 tablespoons of rigorous strength(Being strong is important to maintain machinery)
8. 4 tablespoons of wit in a time of war
9. 3 teaspoons of focus in times of trouble( you need to have focus while your in trouble
10. 2.5 teaspoons of leadership while in times of trouble
