Benvolio, one of Romeo's friends is there to comfort him. He tells Romeo to chin up, that there are plenty of women/girls in Verona that would come running to his feet if they knew he was unwedded.

They are unaware of their blood, status and name the two have an intense and altering conversation, the two kiss. After finding out they are both distraught for they are destined to not be together.

Romeo strays from the group and jumps over the orchard wall unable to get the girl out of his mind. They have another very nice conversation promising to meet again. Friar Lawrence thought flabbergasted in young Romeos change of heart agrees to wed the two lovers in secret as he sees it as a possibility that it might end the age-old feud. The next day Romeo and Juliet meet with Frair Lawrence and are wed. The nurse who is aware of the situation procures a ladder so that the two can be together on the wedding night.

Albeit disinclined to the idea he agrees on the condition that Count Paris has to also convince Juliet that the idea is adequate. Juliet learns that her father wants to marry her off to paris and she doesn't like this idea because she is married to Romeo, this ends with her going to friar lawrence for advice after her nurse betrays her, he sets up for them to meet in murtuna. The message from Friar Lawrence having not been received, Romeo only hears that Juliet is dead, he buys poison from an apothecary and heads back to Verona. When he makes it to Verona he heads to her tomb to find Paris, he kills paris and then takes the poison.
