A change that i made during the progression of my website was the layout of the images, as i wanted the image layout to be similar on each page so that i could keep a theme and so that each page had a style link. Many of the images that i had chosen, had different sizes, which i could not resize as they would alter the image quality and the composition, so i had to work with the original sizing, and during the creation i had to keep altering and changing the layouts on each page.

Another change that i had made during the creation of my website was the home page, which originally was an enlarged photography i took with an title and a button that linked the user to the starting page on my website, i had this changed during the last stages of alterations as i didn't feel that it suited the theme that i had created on the photography sections, so i added three slide shows to preset my best photography, i thought this was a good change as it gave the user an insight to my website and my work.

I feel that my website is quite similar to other websites that i researched on word press and wix, as it has a similar layout to a lot of the photography pages i came across as well as using similar interactive features, such as buttons, links and slideshows.

 

To make my logo i used adobe sketch, to outline an existing image of me, as i didn't want my logo to be a coloured png, so i make a slightly more animated version of the image, which i coloured and shaded using grey shades, and the only feature of the logo that i coloured was the camera wh9ch i did as i wanted to draw the attention to that feature, which suggests the theme of my work is photography. 

For my fonts i used italic writing for my subheading, text and titles, as i found that this was the font style that suited the rest of my website in the best manner as it was formal but still appealing and well contrasting with the other features of my website, i experimented with many font styles, but the text that i originally used was too difficult to read, which i chose to change as i feel that if text is too complex it can turn a user away, as it shows lack of professionalism. 

As problem that i had with home screen was that i didn't feel like it was formal and intriguing enough for an audience, as originally i had enlarged one of my images on the home screen and added a title, but as my website progressed and i started to add more and more features to the other pages, i realised that the home page didn't pair with the theme and the style of my website on the other pages, so i decided to change it, to fix this problem i reviewed and looked at more photographers websites and looked at their home pages where i could get ideas on what to change the home page to, my solution was to add slide shows to the home page, where i could change the design of the slide show to fit my style and at the same time, present my best work.
