Amelia Earhart, Theodore Roosevelt, Thurgood Marshall, Irma Rangel, John Hancock, W. E. B. DuBois, Robert Fulton, Paul Revere, Abigail Adams, and George Washington Carver

Explore
Students will research their person using follettshelf (e-books) and write a short story about their life highlighting important facts.

Explain
Students will be able to "become" their historical figure by having an interview with other students that will be recorded and hosted on flipgrid.

Elaborate
Students can act out their character and have other students ask questions about their "life". This can be shown in "talk show" form.

Evaluate
Teachers can create a rubric for this project that will be used as an assessment.
