The Incas were an empire up in the mountaintops of South America.

Geography

The Inca Empire was located in west coast of South America. The Inca Empire ruled over parts of Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, And north Chile. The Inca lived in the mountains where the great city of Machu Picchu was located. The Topography was mostly mountains. From time to time there would be cities in jungles and deserts but mostly in the mountains. The climate was cold and they lived so high up in the mountains that you could barely breath.
