WELCOME TO THE COURSE!

My name is Begoña Crespo. I will be guiding you through the Modelos e Teorías lingüístcas course. I have been teaching Linguistics courses for quite a long time now..............You can find more on me at https://portalinvestigacion.udc.gal/investigadores/212991/detalle.

A few years ago I decided to change the methodology I used to apply... and... here we are: using the FLIP model and paying special attention to competences, that is, soft skills.

I hope you enjoy this new teaching method as much as I do.

Hi everyone! My name is David and I finished my bachelor degree on Primary Education in 2017. Afterwards, I moved to Poland, where I have lived and worked until the end of August 2025.

As my goal is to become an English teacher in the stage of elementary school, I enrolled into this master degree to gain more knowledge about the English language and to learn how to teach it.

Hello, everyone! My name is Marina, and I graduated from the University of Salamanca with a degree in English Language and Literature a year ago. When I finished, I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do, but after doing some research, I found this master's degree in Advanced English Studies in Coruña, which is a city I really like, and I'm very happy to be living here. I'm really looking forward to continuing with the master's degree and continuing to learn new things.

My name is Marta. I decided to do this master's degree because I wanted to further my studies in the English language after finishing the degree of English Studies this year. A fun fact about me is that I do musical theater, so I love singing, dancing, and acting.

Hi! I'm Dio. I'm doing this master's degree because I'm keen on literature in English, whether it is British, American, Irish or any other kind. I would love to do a PhD in Queer Studies, mainly focused on lesbian literature!

Also, one of my major hobbies is cosplaying, that is, dressing up as characters from anime series or video games, usually in anime/manga conventions. It's a bit time consuming, as I often make the costumes myself with a sewing machine!

Hi, my name is Iga. I’m an Erasmus student from Wrocław, Poland. I chose this course because its content aligns with my interests. In Poland, alongside my English studies (I'm currently in my final year of my bachelor’s degree), I also study psychology.
