Working individually or with a partner, choose and read a book from Mr. Giraldi's classroom library, your school library choices (already signed out), Storyline Online or our Epic online library. You will then pick one of the four sections of our upcoming Extended Reading Project, and create a Level 4 response below. Since Grade 3 and 4 students have different expectations, only partner up with someone from your grade level!

On your post, make sure to include...
- Your book's title and author
- Your name(s)
- Your section choice (like 'Main Idea')
- Your Level 4 answer!
- A relevant picture!

Summarizing
What is the story about? This is very similar to a Recount! Make sure to only include important events (in order), the problem and the solution!

Compare and Contrast
Explain the similarities and differences of two of the main characters!

Inferring
Figuring something out from the story by using your own knowledge and hints from the story! Use clues from the text and your own ideas to predict something about the story; what you're looking for isn't answered in the story, it's relying upon you to figure it out!
