When I was young, I used to be that shy and quiet kid in the corner of the classroom. I would always be reading comic books or drawing random stuff that popped into my head. More often that not, I stayed quiet in the classroom and just kept my thoughts to myself. At the time, I manifested this introverted well-being that made me think that I'm "that" type of student. However, parts of me knew that I could change; that I could be so much better. There were voices in my head telling me that this isn't who I am - this isn't the real me. Eventually, when the environment didn't suffocate me to conform to their standards, I learned to become myself. I became open about things that I never thought I'd be open about. I became happy. I talked to people more, I made more friends, I had more fun learning, and most importantly, I learned to love myself; for who I am and even for who I was. I know that up to this day, some parts of me still clings to that past self of mine. At times I let it show and get the best of me but thanks to my friends and companions, I learn that the better part, the real part of me, is what I need to embody within myself. That's why I always tell myself: "Stay true to who you REALLY are, and always LOVE yourself." So I can never forget to be the most authentic and best version of myself. Through this slogan, I will never forget to be who I really am; I will never forget who I want to be. In the future, I hope that I continue to be better while still maintaining my authenticity. I hope that this slogan can guide to me where I want to go and help me become a better individual for both myself, and for society.
