It evaporates from the sea and from clouds and it is an important element for all of us. It has given rise to numerous spiritual traditions. Water is a chemical compound of H2O molecular formula and on Earth, it is 71.12%. Water takes on more forms in nature. In the solid state it becomes ice, in the aeriform state it becomes water vapor. Where there is water, there is life. Even in the driest regions of our planet, even under the deserts, water is always present, albeit at depths that often don't allow it to recover. In Africa the humans don't have enought water for live. For take it, they have to walk for 30 km. In the industrialized countries, we don't warn the water shortage. The ambientalist Greta Thunberg, at age 16, has become one of the most influential people on the planet. Last friday Greta attended a summit in New York and she has faced an speech really moving. At this meeting participated 77 member of industrialized countries. We realized that everyone have to commit more for don't destroy the planet and for that every living species can continue to live.

The life was born thanks to it. The planet is occupied by 70 percent of water. Unfortunately, there are millions of plastic microparticles  in the water of lakes, seas and oceans.  This plastic pollutes water and fishes. Even, in the Pacific Ocean, there is an island of waste, the Pacific Trash Vortex. It's bigger than Iberian Peninsula. Another island of waste is in the Atlantic Ocean: the Atlantic Garbage Patch.
It's very scary!!!

Water is abundant in our planet, it covers 70% of the surface, but only 2.5% of it is sweet, if we exclude glaciers at the poles then less than 1% remains.
Of this 1% only 0.1% is intended for human consumption. 
 Water scarcity is the most serious problem that we have, in fact more than 4 billion people live in water shortages for at least a month a year. Greta Thunberg is fighting to decrease water consumption and eliminate plastic.
