I then learned about different camera angles E.g mid shot, extreme close up and dutch tilt. I also learned about the rule of thirds which you should apply always when your taking a picture or filming. 
Finally we learned about cameras and different techniques in the camera settings to make what your filming be correct and look better E.g White Balance, manual focus. i have never done any of this and can use these techniques in my future work.

Which included making a story board and a shot list, that included all the camera angles we would use for each shot, like mid shot, close up and pan. Overall i think it went well, but it was hard to decide what camera angle to do with each shot. When we had to shoot the scene, i was the camera women, it was quite hard to do all the correct camera angles and do the correct techniques like the rule of thirds and focusing.

Dave then demonstrated the three point lighting using led lights and a model to show how the lights work in filling out the shadows or how you can use the shadows if your doing a horror film, it was a bit tricky to understand how it all worked at first but i did get clearer. we then had to take pictures of the model while other people changed the brightness of the lights to we could see the different effects. next time i will ask more questions when i don't understand something.

It was detailed and has all the shots in that we need to see, we made sure the times made it so it was up to a minute long, as it says in the assignment. We also went looking for the location we can film in, we looked at different classrooms around the college, the first one we found that we could use wasn't available for us to use so we had to find another one, which was okay as the second room was better. We also found a corridor to use but it's going to be a bit hard as there may be people walking around while we film the scene. Today has been successful as we have achieved a lot of things. First we filmed the scene in the corridor, before we talked about what how we shoot the shots and make it look how we wanted it to. When are advert got showed I was nervous at what people would say but the feedback we got bad was so good, the tutors said how our shots were really good and looked professional, how are advert was very impressive for first year students. The negative feedback we got was how in the advert one of the actors was holding an book upside down and it was noticeable, it was our finale cut and we didn't really see the need to go back and change it, because it doesn't look that bad.
