After Miles's parents ground him for two months, he storms to his room. He lays on the bed listening to the tunes in his headphones when all of a sudden a portal opens and Spider Gwen appears from it.

She’s honest with Miles about how she was so protective of him all the time because she's sad to see him growing up. Miles’s spiderman mask is significant to him. It is basically the key to him switching between his normal everyday life to his counter superhero life. The mask is able to bring out a new and unfamiliar side to the Miles Morales everyone thought they knew. Moreover, this mask symbolizes his responsibilities to protect those who can not fend for themselves.

After Miles enters the dimension portal he finds himself in India with Pavitr Prabhakar (Indian Spiderman) and Gwen. There they try to capture Spot who is wants to use the collider of that universe

Spot successfully uses the collider and becomes a more powerful villain. He escapes leaving the spidermen to clean up the aftershock of the collider. The whole city was collapsing, Miles had to save the citizens from collapsing buildings. However, what Miles did not know is that he disrupted a canon event that was supposed to happen in that spider verse timeline. He saved someone important to Pavitr Prabhakar who was meant to die.

Miles Morales successfully escapes the cage Miguel o Hara trapped him in. However, he is now being hunted by all the different spider men on order of Miguel O Hara. He runs, jumps, climbs, swings to escape.

Brother Battle

Miles felt like he lost all his friends when he found out the truth of his own existence. Miles Morales was never meant to exist, he was the first Anomaly that ever happened. He got bitten by the radioactive spider that was meant to bite the Peter Parker of his universe. This was the reason why none of his Spiderman friends came to visit him, including Gwen. Additionally, Miles felt betrayed when Peter B parker and Spider Gwen refused to let Miles go back home to save his dad because this was “the right thing to do”.

Spot was one of the scientists who worked on the first Collider which left the spiderverse in mayhem. After Miles destroyed it in the previous story, Spot, who was once human, transformed into this being who can create portals across the spider verse. He uses his power to travel across the spider verse to gain power to enact revenge on Miles for ruining his life. They briefly battled in the beginning of the story but Spots was not at his full potential at the time

Atonement with the Father

At the spider verse elite society, Miles reunited with his old mentor Peter B Parker. He is now a dad of a beautiful spider baby girl. In the later part of the story it is revealed that he had the kid because he believed he could raise her to be someone as kind hearted as Miles.

Entering the Belly of the Whale

Miles finds out his dad is supposed to die canonically in 2 days. However, he is captured by the leader of the spidermen, Miguel O hara, as Miles is not allowed to save his father. This is because this action would disrupt the Spider verse and everyone of different dimensions' timelines would be broken.

Miles is trying to escape the “destiny” of all the spidermen. He wants to make his own unique story. He refuses to just be another spider man who lets their loved ones die for the sake of the story.

However, he goes through this stage of self doubt. Questioning if he really does deserve to be spiderman despite being a mistake/anomaly.

The problem is definitely not resolved. Miles traveled to the wrong universe and is now held captive by the Miles G Morales, who now takes the role of Prowler, and Uncle Aaron of that new Universe. But, the last scene shows Spider Gwen standing beside a team of all of Miles’s old spider man friends who have the goal of saving Miles
