  • Syria, as Saudi Arabia supported opposition groups during Syria’s civil war, trying to control Iran’s influence in that territory, who was also an ally of the Assad regime.

  • Hezbollah, the Lebanese Shia militant group, which supports Assad in Syria and has great influence in Lebanon is opposed by Saudi Arabia while assisted by Iran. 

  • Extremist Groups (Al-Qaeda), as despite its Sunni identity, they have targeted Saudi Arabia, which has fight against the growth of terrorism, created by those groups .
