Identify:
The IB value that motivated me to take part in this project was caring. I wanted to help because I know that some people in my community go through difficult times, and I felt it was important to show kindness and support.

Analyze:
This value was reflected in my actions because I didn’t just think about the problem, I actually did something to help. By collecting and organizing food for families, I showed that caring means taking action, not only having good intentions. My actions were focused on making others feel supported and showing that the community cares about them.

What I learned about myself while working on this project is that I can be more responsible and organized than I thought. I also realized that I like helping others and that even small actions can make a difference.

What I discovered about the community and its environment is that many people are willing to help if they understand the purpose, and that our environment needs more care than we sometimes notice. By working together, we can support families and also take better care of the place where we live

I think the activity I designed can help the community and its environment because it brings people together to work on a common goal, like collecting food or cleaning a park. This not only supports families who need help, but also teaches everyone to take care of the place where we live.

I based my decisions on what I saw in my own community. I noticed that some families don’t have enough resources and that our environment sometimes gets polluted. That’s why I chose an activity that helps both people and nature, so we can live in a healthier and kinder community.

Evaluate:
I think the project had a positive impact on the people in the school community because it showed that when we work together, we can actually help others and make a difference. It also created a sense of teamwork and responsibility among students.

The signs that showed me this impact were that more students started getting involved, teachers congratulated us for the effort, and some families thanked the school for the support. You could see people feeling proud and happy to be part of it.

What I personally did to make the project happen was help organize the materials and motivate my classmates to participate. I made sure that everyone knew what we needed and reminded them to bring their donations.

My responsibility was to collect the items, keep track of what we had, and help pack everything so it could be delivered. I also tried to keep a positive attitude so others felt encouraged to join in.

I think that my actions can help change others because when I recycle, save water, or keep places clean, people see it and get inspired. Small actions can motivate families, friends, and groups to care more for the community and the environment.

What I did well during this project was staying organized and making sure everything was ready on time. I also encouraged others to participate, which helped the project run smoothly.

Explain:
The most difficult part for me was speaking in front of the group to explain the project, because I felt nervous. But I learned that even if it’s hard, I can still do it and get better with practice.

Analyze: What problems or difficulties did you face during the project? And explain: What changes did you make to continue?

One problem I faced during the project was that not everyone participated at the beginning. Some people forgot to bring things or didn’t feel motivated, which made it harder to reach our goal.

To continue, I made a change by reminding people in a friendly way and explaining why the project was important. I also suggested smaller contributions so that everyone could join in without feeling pressured. This helped more people participate and the project could move forward.

I think that The people or groups in this project are families, students, teachers, and the community. They work together by sharing ideas, helping each other, and taking actions to protect the environment and reach the same goal.

Describe: When did you show empathy toward people in the community and how did you demonstrate it with actions?

I think that One time I showed empathy toward people in my community was when we had a food drive at school. Some families nearby didn’t have enough food, so I helped collect canned goods and also stayed after class to organize them into boxes. I showed empathy because I tried to understand how hard it must feel for those families, and instead of just feeling sorry, I did something to help. Even though it was a small action, it made me realize that showing kindness and support can make people feel less alone.

Explain: What would you like to do differently or better in a future community project? What goal do you set for yourself to keep growing?

In a future community project, I would like to communicate better with the group so everyone feels included and clear about their role. I also want to be more confident when sharing ideas.

The goal I set for myself to keep growing is to take more leadership, even if it makes me nervous, because I know it will help me improve and support the community in a stronger way.
