Milan Djordjevich also earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from East Carolina University in 1972 and was subsequently offered a teaching fellowship by the university. Between 1974 and 1980, Mr. Djordjevich served as an assistant basketball coach at Loyola University, establishing himself as one of the nation’s top recruiters and eventually seeing three of his players drafted into the National Basketball Association. More recently, he spent 5 years running the Midwest Storm AAU Basketball program.
