Step 3 : Use the second number in the equation to find out how many friends need to sit down. 
Ex. 5-3=? You need to have 3 friends sit down. 
Step 4 : After your friends sit down, the number standing up is your answer!

Step 1 : Set up chairs in a circle, the number of chairs you should use is 1 less than your total class. 20 students = 19 chairs. 
Step 2 : Play music and have students walk around chairs. 
Step 3 : When the music stops, the students must find a chair to sit in. 
Step 4 : Whoever gets the last chair and sits down must solve a subtraction problem. 
Step 5 : If they get the problem wrong, the student who gets the chair has a chance to solve the same problem. If they get it right, they get the chair the student who got it wrong was sitting in, but if they get it wrong as well, both of the students are out.
