         <description><![CDATA[<div>All subjects #7 &amp; Science #3<br>1.&nbsp; Each student creates a word cloud in reflection from a discussion, an idea, a reading, or video. Individual comes up with 20-30 descriptive words and then makes a word cloud.&nbsp;<br>I think that this would be a good way for the students to make sure the fully understood what the learned and it makes the students reflect.<br>2.&nbsp; Create word clouds for animals in a biome. Remember you can make the classification heading bigger.&nbsp;<br>I like this one because it helps the students know what belongs in a group and how to properly classify.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>All number 9&amp;11<br>I feel as though this is a good way to help students visualize the words to be able to remember them better while also showing their understanding of topics and words. Having children pick out their own expectations and do an activity with it will help that expectation stick. Especially with younger children. It will make them feel like they have a voice in the classroom.<br><br><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>FCS<br>#5 - Students create a word cloud of items found in different rooms of a house.&nbsp;<br>- To create a blueprint of their room so that they can know what a baby would need.&nbsp;<br>#2 - Have students keep food journal of what they eat for a week. If they eat French fires three times they record that. They then enter their entire journal entry being sure to give a number value in the advanced more or pasting the word the correct number of times. They should end up with a word cloud of their diet. Then make them color code the food groups.<br>-This will allow the students to see how much of each food group they are eating in a day or week. Then they can make changes to balance their diet.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Language Arts #5 and 7<br>1.&nbsp; I liked the idea of making a word cloud of student writing like poems or haikus.  This would be a neat way to see student writing and could even be in the shape of something connected to their poem.<br>2.  Word clouds could also be used to illustrate certain themes or ideas of books.  This can connect many important parts of the story from characters to ideas, to themes.</div>]]></description>

Having students display their understanding of a concept is extremely beneficial and by using Word Clouds, this specifically engages students by using a free and interactive tool.<br>Reason 2: Put words in a word cloud that will be part of spelling tests and vocabulary investigations.
