The basaltic prisms are specifically in Santa Maria Regla.
These were formed by the lava cooling near 2.5 millions years ago. These ware called it because when the lava was cooled they took the form like a prism.
The prisms began in one of the 13 natural wonders in Mexico. There are a lot of things to do from using the longest zip line in Huasca de Ocampo to across a cliff on a bridge at 40 meters high.

Huasca Sierra Verde maybe is the best option to get in, it´s an hotel with bedrooms, cottages, but the most interesting thing is that it also has "glamping" which is like a tent but it´s bigger, warmer and more comfortable. They give a tour through a magic forest. It has attractions like swimming pools, temazcales, a zip line, "bicicross", slides, interactive bonfires, childish games and children's cabins.
