Skin Integrity: Some patient may not be able to use this device as a result of their skin or disease process. e.g. , a patient who suffers from severe lymphedema and sweat often.

Medial intervention/ testing: This device can interrupt other medical intervention or imaging like MRI, therefore it has to be taken off before an MRI.

For staff, it will limit the frequent visits to patient room and allow for other patient care to be attended to without missing out on abnormal vital signs from the patient.
