Teachers need to keep boundaries in the classroom. Clothes need to be appropriate and behavior needs to be tame in the classroom. On the personal level teachers can give advice to the students if they are asking for it. This could be emotional advice or advice on not getting too sexually active.

In today's world teachers have more to explain about the world since sex and relations are everywhere in the media.

With the professional nature of teaching, I believe that we need to be careful in the discussions that we enter into with students. If a student is talking to us, we should listen, however, it is not our job to offer advice for their love life. We should guide them into ways in which their feelings and the physiological changes in their brains can help them in class.

With the tight restrictions and the risk of he said/she said opportunities it is unsafe for a teacher to enter into discussions that are of the personal love life aspect.

I think teachers need to be mindful of what is going on with their students to the extent it impacts the education of their students. You do not want to overstep your boundaries, but if there is a clear effect on a child's education then intervention is necessary.

I believe that teachers can be a listening ear for students when they are experiencing "romantic difficulties." While the teacher should not say anything negative about the other student involved in the relationship, a teacher can offer the student ways to overcome the emotions or sadness that they are feeling since the teenager's brain is governed by emotion rather than logic during this time. However, it is important for these discussions to remain professional. The teacher shouldn't push students away that feel comfortable with them, but they could also recommend students to the guidance counselor.

Teachers need to be aware of their students and if their relationship is affecting their education a teacher should very mindfully address the situation.

I don't think a teacher should pry into their students relationships but if a student asks for advice you should be able to give them advise, but again very mindful advise.
