The video does not offer a lot of explanation for where the book came from. There is no mention of any supernatural or paranormal reasonings for the book. One of the hypothesis for the book is that it was all a hoax and someone just made it up. This is an example of the "unexplained" reason for belief. They have a date for the book because of carbon dating, but they do not know the origins. Many theories are evaluated in this video, including the theory that young Leonardo Da Vinci was the author. This video is good because it applies critical thinking skills along with looking at evidence for disproving certain theories. In the end they prove all the current theories held are false because of carbon dating techniques. It is covering more of the 'paranormal' side of the Voynich Manuscript. 
It goes over the theories that the Manuscript has predicted Dooms Day or that the plants drawn in the book are from another planet all together. The video also explains how to book was made in the 15th century, right when the Dark Ages were ending. That meant that alchemy and the "dark arts" were being explored. This again can be put under the "unexplained" reason why people believe this stuff. The red flags of this video are ancient wisdom. There is no explanation paragraph with the book. From doing a quick overview of the book you can notice that the book has different sections. Like mentioned in some of the videos and websites I viewed, you can clearly see a botanical section and a astrology section. Using my critical thinking skills and can look at many pages of the books and see that it looks like a fantasy book. Some people speculate that it is a "Mayan Codex". 9/11 conspiracy theorists have their own group of ideas. The 9/11 conspiracy theorists have a certain ideology that fit in with their ideas and beliefs. Some of the theories are logical, while some are illogical (i.e. "aliens wrote it"). As well, some of the theories on the website have been disproved (i.e. Leonardo Da Vinci wrote it). For example, a link to another website written by James E. Finn describes "The Voynich Manuscript is most likely part of an end times documentgiven to mankind by Aliens, UFO's, in medieval times". The reason for belief behind that article is agenticity, where he believes that a higher power (aliens) have given us the book to warn of us end times. I believe it is hinting that the Manuscript is obviously a "how-to" booklet for some sort of fantasy game. I believe they are probably referring to Dungeons and Dragons, or something similar. Many people do believe that the Manuscript is just a hoax that was written for fun or to confuse people. He claimed he acquired the Manuscript in 1912 at the Villa Mondragone in Italy. He was an antiquarian who collected many different types of books. This theory made sense before they did a lot of tests on the Manuscript. They carbon dated it, as well as tested the ink from the book. Some people still have the theory that young Leonardo Da Vinci was the creator of the Manuscript. This could have possibly been a good theory if carbon dating didn't already prove that the book was created before he was even born. Many people say that Da Vinci is the creator because the drawings are quite fantasy like and messy. Many people believe this because of patternicity and some of the "evidence" (like this signature) that they have found.
