Nowadays, technology plays a crucial role in our life. So, we cant live without it that brings a lot of benefits to us. Besides that,with this era, technology got a lot of negative impact for us. The question is, what are the pros and cons of technology?

To answer the question, theres a lot of pros by technology like doing laundry with washing machine. Because of that, it can save our life such as we will save managing our time. Besides that, while waiting for the washing machine to stopped spinning, we can do a variety of activities such as cooking and washing the plate in the kitchen. Secondly, technology was very important and functionable for education. As example, while pandemic Covid-19 students can learning from home with technology.

However we need to know that not all technology bring positive effects for us. Theres some cons that caused by technology. Firstly, people will losing their job because technology start to take their work. For example, robot waiters in restaurant. Furthermore, people will waste their time with technology too. For instance, playing video games too much that will caused health problem. Moreover, cyberbullying nowadays comes from technology. This things happens because with technology like social media platform, every people can post and read anything inside their mind and they will act before they think first. 

Lastly, everyone need to know what is the pros and cons for technology. For me, we must be smart in using technology to the best of our ability. In addition, as a future teacher I hope technology in the future can create a new environment that can produce this country to build mature generations.

First of all, theres a lot of pros or advantages that we can get from technology. For instance washing machine technology. Previously, people used to wash their clothes by hand. However, in this era they have replaced this activity by using washing machines for doing the laundry. This is because it can save our time between washing clothes by hand. For example, we just need to put clothes, detergent, set the cycle, push the start button and wait until the washing machine stops by itself. Moreover, while waiting for the washing machine to stop we can do a variety of activities like cooking so we can manage our time wisely. On the other hand, we can use technology as another alternative to studies and increase our knowledge such as online learning. Additionally, when the years of 2020 during pandemic Covid-19 unfortunately every schools in Malaysia closed to prevent this virus. Because of that, the government instructs the teachers to do online classes. At the same time, with tools like Google Meet or Zoom, they can easily communicate with their teachers and friends in school even though they cant come to school.

However, we need to know that not all technology can bring positive effects for us. There some cons or downsides that are caused by technology such as people losing their job. This thing happens because when technology gets sophisticated and renewed from day to day so it will take human works as their work for instance, robotics technology like robot waiters that are controlled remotely in restaurants. Hence, people who work as waiters will be fired and increasing unemployment. Then, people will waste their time by playing video games until forget to work out. As a result, their health will be affected because most of the time with the screens. Thus, it can cause our social lives for instance headaches, eye strain, carpal tunnel syndrome, and depression which will harm our health and make us uncomfortable to ruin our daily lives. Lastly, cyberbullying is bad behaviour that comes from digital technologies. This is because, people can read and write anything with technology from social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. For instance, people can upload our photos and put them at their social media even if we do not allow it. Therefore, cyberbullying can happen immediately to everyone.

In conclusion, we need to know what is the pros and cons for technology. As a human in this era, we are required to learn more about technology that getting more sophisticated from day to day. Moreover, we must be smart in using technology to the best of our ability. In addition, as a future teacher, I hope technology in the future can create a new environment that can produce mature generations.
