One quote which stuck with me was, "Someone's opinion of you does not have to become your reality." It's a great reminder change starts within ourselves. And so, it's important to form good opinions of ourselves in order to achieve our dreams someday. Yes, we want to make good impressions and make important people in our lives proud, but it's not up to those people to define us, to define our goals, and to define our futures... It's only up to us and it starts by us first "investing" in ourselves.

My first grade class and I have done a lot this year with persevering when things get difficult or when we experience a set back.
