Worst case: Joseph longs to see Jupiter and show her he loves her, but he is never allowed. Joseph has to go back to his father, who moves him far away. Joseph never recovers from the pain because he has no one to love him. Jupiter goes from foster home to foster home and never has a stable home because Mr. Brook refused to sign.
