This project was a valuable experience for my students and me. Through fun, interactive and engaging STEM activities, we explored important environmental problems like water pollution, climate change, and waste management. Students worked with peers from other schools and countries, learning to collaborate and respect different cultures. They also improved their English and digital skills, while developing critical thinking and environmental awareness.Through the project, students also became familiar with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), understanding how their actions connect to global efforts for a better future. This project showed students that learning can be creative and that their ideas can help make the world a better place.

We feel grateful and lucky to have participated in such an interesting and meaningful project.

Like all partners involved in the project we had the opportunity to engage in hands-on STEM activities that address these crucial areas. This project offered our students and teachers the opportunity to be educated and trained about environmental issues, as well as related sustainable

development goals, and it also empowered us to propose solutions that can lead to a more sustainable future. This project raised our awareness about environmental issues and helped us take actions for the nature!

Junior High School of Moudros Lemnos Greece / Christos Koukoumis

The Environmental STEMgineers Project has been an enriching and transformative experience for both our junior high school students and teachers. It offered a hands-on, inquiry-driven approach that bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world environmental issues. Through collaboration, experimentation and critical thinking, students developed a deeper understanding of sustainability, environmental science, and the role STEM plays in solving global challenges. The project encouraged teacher collaboration, supported instructional innovation and provided access to resources and community partnerships that enhanced the learning experience. Finally, I would like to gratefully thank the project coordinator Ellie Mantzana for the excellent cooperation and immediate support during the project activities, my school colleagues without whom the implementation of the activities would have been impossible and of course all partners from the collaborating schools.

Junior High School of Moudros Lemnos Greece / Zoe Diamantopoulou

As an educator, participating in the Environmental STEMgineers eTwinning project has been a highly enriching professional experience. The project provided a valuable platform to integrate interdisciplinary STEM learning with environmental education in a collaborative, international context. It offered opportunities to exchange best practices with fellow educators across Europe and co - design innovative learning activities that enganged students in real - world environmental challenges. Throughout the project, I had the opportunity to explore new methodologies for intergrating STEM with environmental themes in a way that was both meaningful and student - centered. By actively engaging in collaborative planning, co -creating resources, and leading virtual classroom activities, I was able to expand my instructional approaches. Ultimately, this experience enhanced my ability to adapt and create a more inclusive and globally aware classroom environment.

Junior High School of Moudros Lemnos Greece / Evangelia Tsakou

Taking part in an eTwinning project focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and environmental protection represents a valuable opportunity for teachers and students in our Junior High School. For our students, the project is first and foremost a practical way of reinforcing their scientific and technical skills. By working on real-life environmental issues, they can use their knowledge of mathematics, physics, biology and technology. They also learn to use digital tools, to design innovative solutions and to reason in a logical and structured way.

The project is also a major source of motivation. Pupils are more committed when they take part in a concrete, collaborative and meaningful activity. By taking an active role in their own learning, they become more independent and responsible, and develop their critical faculties. What's more, by working with partners in other European countries, they are opening up to new cultures, practising English in an authentic context, and discovering the importance of international cooperation in tackling ecological challenges.

To all of us, as teachers, the project offers an opportunity to enrich our professional practice. It encourages teamwork, the exchange of good teaching practice and the integration of an interdisciplinary approach. The teachers involved can experiment with new teaching methods, integrate digital tools more fully into their lessons and make their teaching sequences more dynamic. We also benefit from a European network of colleagues with whom we can collaborate and develop.

What's more, an eTwinning project enhances the work of the teachers and the school. It can lead to official recognition such as the eTwinning quality label or European prizes. These distinctions boost the school's profile both locally and internationally.

Finally, this type of project helps to improve the school climate. It creates a positive dynamic within the school, strengthening links between students, between subjects and between the different members of the educational community. It raises young people's awareness of their role as responsible citizens and actively engages them in building a sustainable future.

In short, an eTwinning STEM project on the environment is a powerful lever for developing skills, boosting pupil motivation, stimulating educational innovation and encouraging openness to the world.

I would like to thank the coordinator and all the project partners for their cooperation and mutual support.
