. Have students complete a one-minute run once a week to see how students improve on their endurance, stamina, and speed. As well as their breathing techniques.

. Track how many laps each student ran around the gym perimeter.

Go back to listening to the sounds with those students that struggle. Also doing more repetition before adding more sounds.

Hands-on Activity: Place paper flowers with pollen (cheese powder) on top in front of each student. Students act as "bees" using their fingers to transfer pollen from flower to flower. This shows one example of the codependency of plants/animals. The teacher can also take a moment to explain why flowers need pollen, and how bees in real life perform the task of transferring pollen.

Open Discussion: Ask engaging questions about the lesson and see if children can answer them.

Exit Ticket: Children have already received a lesson on consumers/decomposers/producers, so have them list on a small slip of paper their own real-world example of plant/animal codependency.

Focus on other stamina building activities
Offer a prize at the end of the year or semester for a group of students who improve the most in the one-minute run. This will provide motivation for the students.

Food Chain Comic: Students who are still struggling will work with the teacher during small group time to create a food-chain comic, which shows the codependency of producers/consumers/decomposers. The teacher can take this time to explain the concept more thoroughly and answer any remaining questions.

Have them get out white boards and ask them to identify/write out fractions and then ask them to make a connection with equivalent fractions.

Have them name facts about fractions based on the lesson plan as an exit ticket

Students would be put in pairs, each student with a certain amount of M&M and Skittles (Ex. 1/10 and 2/20) it would then be the students' job to figure out how to get both their amounts of candy to be equal (ex. 1/10 x 2/2 = 2/20) or (2/20 / 2/2 = 1/10) this would show them how to find get common denominators which is the first step in finding equivalent fractions.
