The learners were engaged and seemingly enjoyed using Mentimeter, some for the first time.

I added fun activities such as matching games, quiz's and missing words games. I asked (ordered) my wife to play. It was really fun and easy to set up. Microsoft Teams was used for two clinical training programmes. Glucometer training and Administration of Buccal Midazolam. These courses were delivered through Microsoft teams as a Moderated session. The assessment  comprised of a practical demonstration where learners had to show how they would in the case of Glucometer training correctly take their blood sugar reading and in the case of Buccal Midazolam administer it to a patient. 

Mentiimeter
It was used to conduct formative and summative assessment when teaching students about Equality legislation in Ireland.
The students were asked what springs to mind when they hear the word equality and used the mentimeter to answer. It was used for summative assessment where 3 examples of legislation were given and the students had to choose the correct one. 
It was felt that Mentimeter allows the student who may struggle to have that light bulb moment as they see words that initiate ideas. The anonymity of Mentimeter is also very important.
