They are generally made of eco-friendly materials such as bricks and wood, while in some poorer villages they are also made using bamboo and mud. These houses are constructed typically using manual labor without the use of heavy machinery and tools. They usually have roofs thatched with sun dried tiles with slopes in rainy places and or clay in the more hotter and humid regions. These roofs often get damaged in the intense rains and winds that come with the monsoon season and require regular repairs. A notable feature of these houses is the open verandah used for socializing and relaxing.

The village layout itself is often irregular, with house on each side of a narrow lane. The houses have courtyards with plenty of open space with no walls or such between the different plots. Houses in the village usually also have a huge backyard consisting of sheds and other structures where they rear animals and livestock.

Villages are often clustered around central point is most often a church, marketplace, or public space. Some villages are linear settlements. They are not clustered around a central public space, but around a line. This line can be natural, such as a river bank or seashore.

Village are usually situated quite far from cities, towns and other urban areas, they are connected through public transportation such as buses.

Mostly there are Panchayats which consists of a Pradhan who is the head and has a team coordinating him. The coordinating team consists of people who are working in different walks of life like - farming, health, education, women welfare. They are given charge of their respective field of excellence so that they can approve the best coming ideas for welfare of the people. A proper synchronisation between all the wings of the administration leads to a trouble free life of the villagers.

During Durga Pooja, the best things is that during mid night the girls of village came to each and every house and performer a special dance called "Jhijhiya".They made clay statue of the god and godess "maharani durga" and also called" sama chakewa".Me with my family along my friend loves to watch traditional dance.In this festival men play the jhamar, the dhol and the jhaeel, traditional musical instruments of the Maithili community, the women slowly move in circles, swaying their hips lightly to the beat. The song they sing is calming and has a catchy rhythm—one that has your head following the beat, which goes dhamak-dhamak. The bouts of applause from the crowd adds to the energy, making the night even more surreal.

Basically in villages there are two type of threats : 1. Threats from wild animals, 2. Threats from criminal activities of human. We need to have specific solution for both of these. 
There are times when wild animals invade villages and destroy crops and also cause fatal injuries to villagers. To prevent that there must be a strong fencing in the end which leads to wild area. Doing this will save the crop and the villagers as well.
Secondly, there are cases of robbery, stealing garden crops, eve-teasing etc criminal activities in village. To stop all these there must be a Police station in the village or atleast a self made security body consisting of suitable people from the village for providing safety.

Education is key factor for development but my village is lagging on that But now I am happy to see Goverment is being concerned in village area and developing quality Education system  in Village.Government is establishing Modern technology in school.

The main reason for lack of healthcare in the village is the poor availability , accessibility and affordability.

Since the availability of specialists are limited in number so the people in the village can be trained so that they can provide primary health care.
Significant distances to village and absence of transportation are significant hindrances to healthcare. So to improve the accessibility we can take few steps such as-
 -Setting up associations with transportation administrations like cabs 
-Contracting with transport administrations 
-Employing drivers 
-Working with local area accomplices, for example, nursing homes when leading local area needs evaluations 
-Utilizing paramedics and other local area wellbeing laborers 
Unaffordable costs and  inability to pay are also a reason for delayed healthcare service.so the government should take some step by either providing the medical facility for free or very low price.
And also organizing medical camps in villages frequently will help in moving a step towards A HEALTHY VILLAGE .
