The Indus Script combined both, the word signs and symbols with phonetic value. The system of writing where some symbols express ideas or words while others represent sounds is known as logo syllabi. It is suggested that the language was spoken in the 4th millennium BCE, and started disintegrating into various branches around 3rd millennium BCE. The origin and territory of the Proto-Dravidian speakers is uncertain, but some suggestions have been made based on the reconstructed Proto-Dravidian vocabulary. Proto Dravidian does not exits now because people have stopped learning the language and I t is not the common one
