In the poem “The Picture of Childhood,” there is evidence of Mob mentality because it has violence, savagery and bullying in the poem that makes people change and be a different person that they aren’t. An example of savagery and Mob mentality are beating someone up in a public place or in a park is called savagery because of their behavior and what they are doing to the person. An example of Mob mentality is getting mad or act a certain way around people that you know, and you changed around them and your not yourself anymore because you change your a whole new person. You are guilty but people wil think that you are normal but you are not because your hiding something from them.

In the poem, “Pictures Of Childhood” there is evidence of mob mentality and savagery. One example in the poem stanza 7 line 1, “ I can’t remember-how many there were, making a din, beating him up”. Not only did some of them join and start to beat this kid, many kids thought it was okay to come into the fright not even knowing this kid and start to hit kid in many ways.

In the poem “ the picture of childhood” there is some evidence of the mob being violence and savagery. In the story the poet allows the reader to see justice through the innocence of the child. The use of present participles, such as "elbowing our way", "racing to the uproar", "forgetting", "contracting" and "spitting" depicts the quick pace, manoeuvre, and motion of the children whilst the movement and constant flow of the poem also creates an anticipation.

Which because of that people change and are different. An example of savagery and mob mentality is when you are in a store and you and this women start yelling at each other because of a bag and you start hitting her basically beating the women up this is savagery because of the behavior and what you are doing to the person.

In the poem “The Picture Of Childhood” by Yevgeny Yevtushenko there is evidence of “Mob mentality” and being savage in the poem because because people are demonstrated to be not knowing a sense of self awareness, and mimicking what everyone else is doing by adding on to beating someone up and putting their hands on other causing people to bleed and elbowing people out of the way. This shows how they are acting savage and violent with no self control or individuality like wild animals who are joining in and follow the crowd instead of doing the right thing. The people in the poem are not thinking for themselves or are even considering that what they are doing is wrong, instead they are just follow what the mob is doing and showing how inhumane and savage beating someone up is.

The text reinforces the idea that these people were invested in seeing this fight enough to the point where they started acting savage and uncivilized. This type of behavior is savage because these people forgot their own morals as the elbowed and rushed through others just to see someone else being savage.

in the poem "the pictures of childhood" there's a clear example of savagery and mob mentality. the mob mentality is when the boys go and check what's going on with he fight and they savagery is them elbowing people to move out of the way to see what was going on and also the fight breaking out is an example of mob mentality. "Elbowing our way, we run.
Someone is being beaten up in the market. You wouldn’t want to miss it! We pick up speed, racing to the uproar". this quote shows how savage they were being by elbowing those people and the fight happening. "how he stood up near the green vegetable stall with his head pulled into his shoulders from the hail of jabs, kicks, spitting, slaps in the face". this quote shows savagery because of the fighting.
