It has been a while since our last email, hasn’t it? My life has been chaotic. I’m juggling between attending classes, completing assignments and practicing for the recitals, all while trying to make sure I make it out of this semester well, breathing and still somewhat sane. College life is no joke. You know how that lady in the Grammarly ad on Youtube said “College students have a lot on their plate”? Yeah. My plate is overflowing.

Anyway, mom and dad miss you. Could you call them more often? You know how worried they can get if they go even one day without a phone call from you. Next week, their friends invited us to a dinner at this posh restaurant down the street, but I don’t have the outfit. Can I borrow that blue dress you bought last month and that cute white shoes with ribbons on them? I promise I’ll wear them well. 

I’ll be waiting for your email. Oh, and before I forget, I fought with Lily. Your little sister is annoying me with her antics. Yesterday, she stole my favourite shirt and wore it to school. She didn’t even ask, “Can I wear your shirt to school today?” Could you please tell her to behave like the cute little sister she’s supposed to be, if she gives you a call? I miss you.
