Both of us liked each other, but it was just hard to keep our friendship afloat. We were constantly mad at each other and were very toxic towards one another. It stopped once we went to middle school and she moved away.

How does this relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme because it was hard to keep this friendship going. We have only known each other for a little over a year, but it seems like we have known one another for a lifetime. Once we meet we instantly connected and always have each other's back. Sometimes we have a very minor disagreement but we work it out effortlessly.
