I am a German teacher at the secondary level, but for one hour per week I teach use of Web2.0 to 14 students, age 12-13. Digital literacy is very important for them, because they have little knowledge about it. My project idea is to use the educational values of flipped classroom and blended learnand produce a digital story in any language they prefer, as they learn except from their mother tongue, English or French/German as a second foreign language. So, they will not only develop language knowledge, but also their critical thinking, collaboration, ICT knowledge and creativity.

Hello, I teach English and French in a vocational High school in Health and Care. For this special project I would like my pupils to read news and fake news in English so as to become aware of it and be able to spot it when necessary. (I will do a follow up work on this subject in French and IT lessons).
In the end, the pupils could either create their own fake news to be sent to members of the group or write an article to denounce it.

I have been taking part to many types of Erasmus projects: Ka2-Ka1, on e-twinning live. I think, a very challenging project could be based on the digital inclusion. Indeed, because of the pandemic disease we have been obliged to became ’transformative teachers', I mean to start teaching in a completely different way with new challenges…so I believe that now more than ever, the theme of Digital Inclusion achieved with the social media, has to be considered a very relevant project theme.

Hello everyone. I’m Lucia Caruso. I teach English at lower secondary school in Sicily. My project idea concerns the eTwinning annual theme “media literacy”. The project aims at using social media as a means to also teach students media literacy skills. They will explore the nature of media literacy, particularly as it applies to the their needs living in a media saturated world, they will learn how to identify fake news and distinguish solid and questionble news sources, they will understand how media can influence their attitudes and behaviours towards specific groups of people or the decisions they make everyday as consumers. Dear colleagues, my name is Marianne Rey and I teach media litteracy in a high school in France, Jura. My purpose is to train students to spot fake news with critical thinking, in a ludic way, for example through a challenge in spanish (the best option because I work with a very very motivated spanish teacher) or in english language.
I am already able to exchange resources in French. The objective would be for our students to work on real and false "fake news" in a foreign language.

My name is Ildikó Zeke . I'm from Hungary.I teach English in a secondary school. My project idea is the following: The main aim of our project is to find the similarities and differences between the culture, traditions and everyday life of people living in historically and geographically completely different areas.
The main aspects to be compared would be the following:
-Culture, traditions (history,language, sights, folk traditions)

-Gastronomy (traditional and popular dishes, recipes)

-Everyday life (a typical day, homes, school, entertainment)

-Geography ( natural environment, weather)

In mixed, international groups of 3 or 4, students work together comparing one given aspect of their culture by sharing videos, pictures, sending quizes, making interviews etc.

They create a complex project work based on the findings of the groups containing different pieces of work such as booklets, ppts, videos, collection of artefacts, a cookery book, a mini dictionary of everyday phrases, highlighting the differences and similarities of the cultures involved.
We have already started to work on this project with an Italian group, but I feel that my digital literacy needs to be improved. I'd like to learn more techniques that we can use and also gain a lot more experience because I'm quite a beginner:)

Hello I am Philippe Marischal, France. I am a middle school librarian located near Paris La Défense business District. I train 10- 16 years old student to media literacy. At the moment I ask them to read a different magazine issue every fortnight. They choose among various youth publications of popular science or general information. They must write about their reading experience and in particular about the layout and various pictures of an article they like. Then, they present it orally to they fellow students. I propose to start something from this format and to adapt it in english to produce something in common with a partner school through e-Twinning.
