I am always fascinated by how mechanisms work and the theory behind how everything works. I dislike History as I am not a fan of memorising things, I need to be able to visualise something in order to understand it. Hence I dislike History. 
b)      In my opinion, no. Malaysia’s education system from primary school to secondary school revolves around memorising facts and details from textbooks. Besides, Malaysia’s education system is not good because general exam candidates can simply get good grades through repetitive exercises without understanding the concept of the chapters. A good education system should be letting students wander about and understand what is going on instead of spoon feeding them. Not to mention “HOTS” questions should not have a definite answer, markers should have an open mind to accept any answer as long as the explanation makes sense. 
c)       Yes, the education system of Italy surprised me because I thought essays are common in higher level education exams and interviews with professors was not what I was expecting. 
d)      A public school is a school funded by the government where locals of the country can have admission to without paying school fees. In Malaysia, we have public schools ranging from primary to secondary schools. However for Malaysia, Singapore and perhaps a few other countries, public schools for secondary education are known as secondary schools while in America, Britain and other western countries, they have public schools for middle and high schools. 
e)      Charter school is a school funded by the government but is not open for admission to every student. Charter schools are run by private organisations for specific purposes like schools for the gifted in Vietnam.

I always enjoy myself playing with numbers as I like to make calculations. Besides, through learning English, I can always improve my grammar and vocabulary as I often expose myself in learning new words. The subject that I dislike is History. This is because History requires quite a strong memorising skills in order to memorise those facts so that I will be able to write out the answers during exams. I could not enjoy myself through History, hence this is the major reason that I dislikes History.

b) In my perception, there is an absence of a good education system in Malaysia. This is because the government keep on introducing new things to the students especially in primary schools. They had to open themselves to the new education system in order to suit the government’s requirements. Besides, they also need to memorise about the theories only instead of practicing with their bare hands by their own. The government should come up with a better education system but not introducing new things to the students without enforcing the basic requirements for them. The government should not only enforce the theories but also need to make the practical activities important too. 

c) For Vietnam, I was not surprised because the education system that is introduced by the government of theirs is quite similar to our country in the fact of just emphasizing the theories only. Their government only emphasize on the theoretical value only. Besides, for Italy, I was quite surprised that they will need to have an interview with the professors which is totally differ comparing to our country. 

d) In my opinion, a public school is an institution which is established by the government and is fully-funded by the government. Students can study in the school without paying single penny and are able to use the facilities provided by the school for free. There are public schools ranging from primary to secondary level in Malaysia. Besides, for an example, in the western countries like the  United States of America, there are public schools like middle and high schools for their students.

e) The definition of a charter school is an institution which is publicly-funded by it runs by its own operating system, unlike the public schools. Not every student owns the opportunity to enter charter schools. The operating system of a charter school is run by private organizations with some purposes or objectives.

d)  Public school is operated by the government . In Malaysia we have both primary and secondary schools . Primary schools for 6 years while secondary for 5 years.

e) Charter schools are independently-operated public schools that have the freedom to design classrooms that meet their students’ needs. Some charter schools require uniforms, others have longer school days, and some teach their entire curriculum in two languages. The possibilities are endless, but charter schools aim to provide a range of options so that parents can choose the public school that best fits their child.The reasons that parents choose charter schools for their children are just as unique as the students themselves. They choose charter schools because of the strong, dedicated teachers, because the school's focus matches their child’s needs, or simply because their child was struggling in their assigned public school and needed to try something new. Charter schools provide families with options in public education, allowing parents to take a more active role in their child’s education.

Accounting is hard for me mainly because if there is one mistake in the format then that means the answer will be definitely wrong .

B) I think my country does not have a good education system because majority of schools are grading students by frequent test and they measure their capabilities based on how they did on their test. Some students may not be good in academics but they might be very good in something else and we ruined that by a piece of paper.

C) both answers from the countries did surprised me because I thought that countries would put a lot more effort to make their education system better. I would recommend that Vietnam would build more school and train better teachers to educate students and Italy to balance out the theory and tutorials.

The subject that I dislike is Business Statistics. Children in Malaysia begin their education as early as the age of four at pre- schools although this is not compulsory. The government provides free education for six years at primary level and five years at secondary level. At the end of this secondary education, students sit for the public common examination, Sijil Pelajaran Malayia (SPM). (C) Win from Vietnam say that they have quite a large population and not so much money to fund everyone, every kid to have proper education. They don’t have enough school. Not enough good teachers ge t paid really bad. Apart from that, Goron from Italy say that they have pretty old system and if you get into Italian university, you will have to study tons of books and even the exams are really hard because you will have an interview with the professors to talk in detail about your studied. The similar things surprise me in these two countries is their education program is focusing more on the theories instead of practising. Next, Vietnam has quite large population but they didn’t have much money to fund everyone and let every kid have a proper education. In Vietnam, they also lack of good teachers. It is because the salary of the Vietnam teachers is very low.

B) In my opinion, I think the government emphasis on both the English and Malay language is a good thing, as it allows students to widen their perspective and understand the difference between cultures. However a downside of the Malaysian education system is the lack of application, some exams can be passed easily by just memorizing the text without understanding anything.
Overall I don't think Malaysia has a good education system.

C) I am not surprised of both country's education system. For Vietnam's education system, I think it is a typical system we encounter almost everywhere in the world.For Italy education system, I think it is great that the professors interview the students, this tests the students understanding of the topic and their ability to elaborate on the topic tested.This does raise the standards and the difficulty for students, but overall the quality of each student should be better.

It is a must for every students to study English and Malay subjects so that everyone in Malaysia is able to communicate with each other although they are all from different races and having different mother tongue. Besides that, there is sufficient of books and information that needed by students to refer which makes learning become easier.

C) Win from Vietnam said that there is a large population and lack of money to fund everyone which cause every kid do not have a proper education. Their education is focusing more on theories instead of practical and that's why they only know how to solve a lots of math questions but they do not know how to apply it in real life. While Goron from Italy said the exams are quite tough because they will have an interview with the professor to talk in detail about what they've studied. I'm surprised that insufficient of money will lead to a big problem which not every kid has the opportunity to study in Vietnam. Next, both of the countries are focusing more on theories instead of practical, therefore the students do not really know how to apply the things that they learned into real life.

(a)    My favourite subjects at school are mathematics and Bahasa cina. This is because mathematics needs to use the logical thinking and Bahasa cina is easier to understand the topic. I did not like history and physics. This is because when studying history will make me feel boring and sleepy. Besides that, physics will always make feel confuse about the topic I am learning.
(b)   In my opinion, I think that our country does not have a good education system. This is because I feel that the system pays more attention on a student’s result and grades. They need us to memories all the study materials to attend the exam.  The study materials just like a theory and not very useful in our future life.
(c)    Vietnam: I don’t think Vietnam has a good education system. This is because from the video, I know that their teachers have no teaching skill and only teach the student theory and do not teach them how to apply in real life. In my opinion, now how to live a good life is important then memories all the theory which use to solve all the question on a piece of paper.
Italy: I think Italy has the good education system. This is because after listen to Goron saying, I know that their exam is through an interview with their professor and without any essay or multiple choices questions. Although it is very hard for every student study at there, this can be a best choice to train themselves before going out to work in the society. I also feel that this should be the best way to train a person how to apply the theory they had learned in class in the real life.
From these two videos, I’m very surprised that Italy University’s examination is through an interview with professor and no any multiple choices questions, no essay. I consider that it is a better way to train a person to speak and realize what they are learning and give them a better understanding about the topic they learned.
In British, most schools are much more lecture-based, with only occasional assignments throughout the semester. In some cases, there may be no actual required assignments and instead your entire grade may be based on one final exam. In American, your grade will be based on your performance on the variety of assignments, with a final exam making up only a percentage of your total grade.

My favorite subject is math, because I think it is a challenging subject. Whenever I solve a math problem successfully, I feel a sense of accomplishment. In school, my math teacher will also be patient to teach us a variety of formulas and answer questions skills. The subject I am not interested in is history. I think history is a boring subject with a lot of things to memorize to answer on the exam. If you don’t memorize the theory, you will not be able to answer some question during exam.

B.I think the good thing about our education system is that students are required to study Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia and English since primary school. In this way, students can communicate freely in our country and communicate with people of different nation in different languages. But in general our country doesn't have a very good education system. This is because  i think school authorities and the government put more emphasis on students' academic performance than their knowledge. Some examinations such as history subjects, some students do not understand the content, they just memorize the theory just for exam. Next, 
the passing scores of some exams are also too low for students to pass without working hard. 

C. Both of the Vietnam and Italy education system did surprise me. This is because I think education plays a very important role in the growth of a child, and a child's education indirectly affects his future achievements. From the video, i feel that government of Vietnam doesn’t pay much attention on people’s education. I think the education system in Italy is very different from ours. They must also pass an interview with a professor.

B) I do not agree with our education system because firstly we dont have a syllabus which encompasses both life skills in the main stream and only focussing on exam based subjects which stunts creativity amongs studens.Secondly,bad because schools segregate students based on capability and always focusses on bright students. Average ones and slow learner’s achievements dont get acknowledged. For instance the cluster kecemerlangan award is given to a school with students who enter the school with good results. Less attention is paid to normal band 4/band 5 school to managed to improve their gpa score. How would this even motivate other schools to perform better if attention is directed to schools which possesses highly intellectual students only and disregards average students who shows improvement .Thirdly because we dont have a syllabus which encompasses both life skills in the main stream and only focussing on exam based subjects which stunts creativity amongs students.
C) Yes i am suprised because i believed essays and multiple choice question are something very similar to most of the country education system .Besides having interviews as test do have the pros and cons which i believe its an unhealthy practice in growing an individual mind .In addition,i find it not fair as their wouldn't be same regulations and conditions.
D) Public school is a type of school that exist from the initiative made by the government to provide free education to the students .This school is financially supported by government in every aspect. In addition, public school is provided to everyone equally to foster parents to send their children to school and not to worry about the expenses especially the poor .This also helps low income families to reduce their loads in daily basis. Public school is made from the primary education platform to secondary platfrom.
E) A charter school is a school that is given license by the government and given a certain amount of fund but operated independently by private by community especially in North America.This school is made to help the poor according to its history .

(b)No,Malaysia does not have good education system because the Malaysian school system is known for placing the most importance on passing standardized tests, and emphasizes qualities like critical thinking, creativity and leadership significantly less.

(c)The people from Vietnam say their country is have not a good education system because in Vietnam they have quite a large population and not so much money to fund everyone, every kid to have proper education. They don't have enough school. Not enough good teachers, and also teachers get paid really bad, and then there are problems like our education program is focusing more on the theories instead of practicing , so they know, so they know how to solve a lot of complicated math equations, but they don't know how to apply it real life.And I am surprised that I think people in Vietnam have the ability to support their children to go to school, but this is not the case.

The people from Italy would say it's a pretty old system because they have a lot of theories and really few practice, so if we get into the Italian university, we will study a ton of books and even the exams are really hard because they have an interview with the professors so we talk in detail about what we studied. No multiple choice questions and no essay like the American system, so he would say it's pretty hard. And I am surprised that Italy is located in Europe. Generally speaking, the education system should be better than the average university. It will be similar to the US, but actually not.

In the case of British curriculum, it can be found that the in primary/elementary school, the level of learning at British schools was considerably higher. The students have in-depth knowledge of each topic they are taught in each stage.The English school year starts from early September to mid-July sometimes. This provides a scope of a summer break of about six weeks.In the UK, students have to buy their own bags, uniform, pencils, pens, and other stationeries. But they do not need to but their Textbooks and exercise books, because they are provided by the school for free. Besides, for the British students, in the first three years of primary school, all students get free school lunches as well. This is a very generous initiative undertaken by the British Government.

The US system puts less pressure on examinations. The students have to study the general subjects and students all the way till the end of secondary school. They graduate with a high-school diploma at the end of Grade 12 finally. That is equivalent of Year 13 in the UK.This is a relatively short season because American schools provide a summer vacation of about 3 months. Students tend to forget their academic skills over the long summer vacation. Statistics show that students score lower on the same standardized test in June than they do in September. This proves that they lose two months of learning in the summer break before the next school year starts. Therefore, keeping the summer break short can prevent the loss.Around age six, U.S. children begin primary school, which is most commonly called “elementary school.” They attend five or six years and then go onto secondary school.Secondary school consists of two programs: the first is “middle school” or “junior high school” and the second program is “high school.” A very unique characteristic of the American higher education system is that you are in college，you can change your major multiple times if you choose. It is extremely common for American students to switch majors at some point in their undergraduate studies. Often, students discover a different field that they excel in or enjoy. The American education system is very flexible.
