Rationale:
The children love to manipulate the different art materials such as paint and crayons. This activity allows them to draw their family members in any way they want using scribbles. It allows the teachers to facilitate discussions as well, "Who is this? What is she wearing?"

Objectives:
1. The child is able to use letter-like shapes, symbols and letters to draw their family members. 
2. The child is able to describe their drawings to the teacher. For example, "This is Daddy. Daddy take bag to work."

I will make it into a Music and Movement class. The children love to move about and act along with the sounds of animals. The sounds being played helps to facilitate their listening skills, and phonemic awareness and rhyme.

Objectives:
1. The child is able to correctly identify the sounds of the baby animal to the mummy.
2. The child is able to label the different animals and the sounds it makes. Rationale:
I chose this particular book as it talks about a trip to the zoo, which they can relate to with their recent zoo excursion with their parents. It includes their favourite animals as well, such as monkeys, elephants and seals. It features the seals splashing water and eating fishes, monkeys swinging around and eating banana. The children can describe it as a family outing. They will be able to ask "What is the snake doing?", "Why is the boy scared?", "Where is this place?".

Objectives:
1. The child is able to interact with other children and the teacher through asking questions. For example, "What is the giraffe eating?", "Why is the boy crying?" (when they had to go home).
2. The child is able to comment aloud using the adjectives and verbs that he/she has learnt on the day two to describe the events that are happening. Whenever we read a storybook, they would describe the different characters based on and relating to their family members. For example, "Oh look, Mummy wash hair", "Daddy go work". The slightly older ones would talk about how their family members feel. "Oh no, Mummy fall down, Mummy sad." This book will help to get them to describe their family as well.

Objectives:
1. While reading the book, the child is able to use the specific verbs to describe the family. For example, "Brother is running", "Mummy is packing". 
2. The child is able to use specific adjectives to describe the emotions of the family. For example, "Sister is excited to go outing."

Rationale: Lesson Plan 1 is the introduction to talk and expand more about "My Family". Children of that age group spend most of their time with their family. They are very interested in singing the "Finger Family" song and would label the different characters. This lesson plan would facilitate them to describe the characters as well as answer questions in a big group setting.

Objectives: 
1) While singing the finger family song, child is able to use specific adjectives to describe the characters. For example, "Daddy, Blue shirt", "Brother, Green shirt", "Sister, Pink shirt", "Baby, happy".
