  • And then take a bus back to Riga - 1,50€

  • About 11am we are going on a hike along the sea side 
  • The hike is about 15 km long, it's going to be hike from our camping place to "Veczemju" cliffs. 
  • Along the way we are going to look at places like:
  •              * "Ķurmrags" and             Ķurmraga lighthouse;
  •              * "Ežurgas" cliffs;
  •              * We will go through North Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve;
  •              * "Veczemju" cliffs (our destination).
  • Lunch brake at "Veczemju" cliffs camping fireplace 
  • Bus Tuja-Salacgriva (0,54€)
  • Staying over night at Marika's family summer house, so we don't have to pay
  • Dinner we will buy at the store.

    In 1967. the lighthouse overturned during the storm and slipped into the sea. The lighthouse was found in 1980. on the shore.

    There is Ežurgu waterfall in red cliffs, it is seasonal- 0,7m high, 1m wide. It is unique because it is located right next to the shore of the sea.

They are 3,5-6m high, in the past wide of the cliffs was 160m, but in the january of 2005. after the storm, wide of the cliffs become 480m.
