“That’s a good question, now I'm going to answer you.

I’m Matteo when I'm with my best friend. I'm the one who likes joking, the one who wants to play football and videogames. When I play sports all the problems go away. I listen to music every day and I think that music is the first way to go in your world.

When I’m at school, I think, I’m not the real Matteo, I won’t speak because I’m scared of the teacher, I have less fun. I’m the boy who don’t like to stay alone. I’m a person who like videogames and I imagine what happen if I’m the character in the game. I want to know about all the things in the world and I think that the universe is infinite. I don't care about the other person, if they have a problem it isn't my business.

If I have a goal I’m sure that I will reach it.

If I want to do a thing I think twice before doing it.

she’s an Italian girl, she’s determined, who never intends to give up, but the thing that characterizes her most is that she is very careless about the judgment of other.Her biggest flaw is that she is a very stubborn girl and always does her own way,she doesn’t listen to anyone but really no one!, but she is also kind and thoughtful and cares for others. but she is also quite intelligent and is not afraid to express herself, especially  when she does something she doesn’t want, she is also quite irritable.This girl is a mix of her parents characters, but she has a character of her own, which makes her unique in a certain sense.She doesn't go out  often. If she does, she has fun with her friend and gives the best of herself, she likes to read and sometimes write and draw, she also likes jokes. Maida is made up of so much but also more.       

Who am I ? Is not easy to answer this question. I am a girl who likes listening pop- music every day, drawing, and watching TV. I don’t do any sports because I’m afraid, I don’t like to go out because I’m afraid of what can happen at that moment, and I don’t like when people talk behind my back. If you have something to say to me, say it to my face, I prefer. Sometimes I don’t listen to the person and I do the thing alone. My parents ask me to do one thing and I do another thing. I don’t like to read many books, but I love fantasy books, in fact I read only these; another thing I love to do is make up.

I don’t like when people take photos of me, for example, at a birthday, I don’t know why, but I don’t like these things. 

In my life I don’t support the last day of the year. I hate these days, because at 00:00, there are fireworks. I don’t like to listen to these, and every  year it's the same story, I stay at home.                

In my family, we are four;dad,mum, me and my brother. I always help mum. Helping mum makes me feel good.

In my life I had a lot of personalities, there are a lot of different parts of my favorite characters in myself, and all these pieces created me, Gaia Bocchieri, the person you usually see at school, at home, or in every other place.

What a difficult question!

I'm a teenager who loves British culture and the 2000's, and I don't really love the world nowadays.

I like to think of myself as a black sheep of my society, someone who goes against the ideas of the new generation.

I agree with some of them, of course, but not at all.

I like to write stories, to swallow in the world I create, to talk with the characters I draw, I wonder them as real persons, next to me, in my world.

I love books, because they are the instruments for get the best future we can have: for me, if you read at least one great book in your Life, you can do everything.

I consider music the way to exit from the real world, and go in other planets and universes, Just like a portal.

Infact I listen and play a lot of music.

I like sports, especially volleyball, which Is the sport I do, 'cause they're another way to be free, and to have fun.

In my life I always looked for something which can help me to be different, without to be too different, from the rest of the society.

Something which can help me to break free, but having fun.

Something to help me to be who I am.

No, no, farewell dear doubts! Farewell! Now, it’s not time to overthink, but make the point of the question instead. And here is how I will manage to do it:

I am going to split right away who I think I am and who the rest of the world believes I am -which is a really painful and pitiful version of my ego, to be clear.

So, let’s start from my image: I’m not a big fan of standards, and I show it by barely just breathing: because of this, many people think that I am a sort kind of weirdo, that one kid who draws random lines on her notebook and on her face eventually, the kid who looks straight out of a Rock-Concert-Boutique and never hides her interest in what comes from a century or decade ago, you know, the vintage type of weirdo.

But what I truly believe in is not that vintage, trust me.

I decided to show this side of me a long time ago, when I realized that society was like a stage: if you’re not cool and unusual, no one will ever care about you, you will always be the side character.

And trust me, I don’t want to.

Because of this, here I am! The exotic, eccentric and smart kid who always seems to know everything ;the kid who always puts effort in every single task; the gifted kid, if you want. But never a human being. No one ever looks in your eyes and wonders who really hides behind them, who’s the actor and why is he performing. People are satisfied with the slim presentation they received by your way of talking and walking, and that’s it. Nothing more than goods on a market shelf ready to be chosen or thrown way just because of their looks and not because of what they actually taste like.

And, in my case, is better like this.

Who I really am is even more dangerous.

You know, when you have the talent of a circus lion and the energy of a snail, it’s never easy to shine.

I personally know that I am actually in possession of an enormous amount of potential, but it’s always a fight between my mind and my body to reach the desk and writ down something. Ideas in my brain pop up from nowhere in every moment and shake my whole body from head to toes like a thunder, but when I sit down in front of a computer, all the electricity seems to disappear in a finger snap. Where do all my powers go? I don’t know, and that’s the problem.

Everybody thinks that I was gifted since birth with the ability of writing – and they’re not that wrong anyway – but the thing is that with this comes also the idea that I’m in peace with myself, the frightening idea that everything is right with me.

But I don’t hate myself. I love myself!

I love that flamboyant personality, that potential, those skills in art, those interests, that ability in talking and always being able to talk back. I love all of this.

I love who I am. I admire my person.

The problem is that I am not able to guide correctly my body, I can’t control all this power.

I am a pilot with the fastest car in the competition but without the right fuel, trying to avoid ungracefully the obstacles and to do not crash with the others.

I am also a good liar. I lie to myself everyday. But my lies, those lies are extraordinary good. I fear how well built they are. They sound too nice, but I can’t manage to find them bad. That’s why I smile, sometimes: I’m that low that I start to believe the words of a liar, myself.

Last year everything was a bit hard to me as I was very slow in reading. In summer, we had 3-month vacation. I read every story book I got. Now I can read and understand quick. My teacher loves my ambition. At School,I have few friends. I don't like too many friends. As for character, I'm impatient , can't wait too long. Football is my game. Running fast is the best part of football to me. I'm not a big fan of coloring or drawing. I like animals so much. I feed the street cats whenever I see one. That's why my mum calls me 'cotton heart'. That's all

It’s a question that I ask myself multiple times but I don’t have a real answer. I’m a different person with every person. It depends on the person I’m talking to. I’m always afraid of how people see me. 

My thoughts cover me every single moment. The fear of being judged badly by other people is made by me because I always judge myself badly. Some people say that I’m very cold with others; this is because I’m afraid.

During summer I enjoy going on walks with my friend and cycling around the hills.
