Aura* was written by Carlos Fuentes. A mexican writer. This story is about a young girl called Aura who lives with her old aunt Consuelo and Felipe Montero, a historian. When they met, they fell in love but the house where they live is typically gothic and always in darkness; the old woman’s room is filled with religious relics and lighted only with votive candles; in private she engages in occult rituals and Felipe believes that the old woman has some secret power over her niece, and he is obsessed with the desire to set her free. The entire story depicts the eventual progression of Felipe Montero's transformation into Consuelo's husband, as well as Aura's transformation into Consuelo.

The book talks about two cousins that used to walk together, Gabriel Utterson and Richard Enfield. One day in a walk Richard talked about an odd story that he lived with a man named Hyde. After the walk Gabriel was worried about a friend named Jekyll, that has a strange relationship with Hyde, he started to investigate more about this man because Jekyll wants to give up all him possessions to Hyde, and Gabriel thinks that it is related with a kind of blackmail and his friend could be involved in a dangerous situation.

Prediction: I think that Gabriel will find very important information about Hyde and Jekyll will appear and explain what his relationship with Hyde is. Another prediction could be Jekyll will be murdered and Gabriel will look for the culprit but he has a strongly suspect of Hyde.

Mr. Lockwood describe the house of mr. Heathclif and the people that live there with mrs.Heathclif between these her daughter-in-law the ‘missis" , joseph her servants , hareton, zillah her Housekeeper.
Later Mr. Lockwood describe something that happen in this house and part of the history of these people and especially a secret of this house about catherine.

Prediction: I think that Mr. Lockwood discover the secret of who is catherine and the importance that she is for all the people especially for Mr. heathclif.
Also i belive that in the end it will be understood what relationship each character has in history.

Prediction:

Rose and Samuel were brother that converted people to Cristianity, but Samuel dead, remembering that Germans attacked his missions. A friend called Allnutt come to Rose's house because Germans was attacked the mine too and anybody disappeared. They buried Samuel and later scaped in the African Queen, a boat. Rose didn't know about boats so Allnutt teaching her some lessons. Rose wanted to help to the British for Germans but Allnutt not, later he accepted the plan to torpedoes the Queen Louisa, but later he was in dissapoint because that was dangerous. Rose didn't talk him at the next day and later he accepted again to go to the plan.
PREDICTION: I think that later they will find difficults, and maybe Allnutt again be in disagreement with Rose but she want to continue. Maybe in the trip they meet whit other people.

African Queen

Rose and her brother Samuel had been in Africa converting hundreds of people to Christianity. With the start of World War One the Germans occupied Africa and took locals with them. Samuel died, he was ill. Rose alone without him, was helped for an English mechanic, Charlie. He help her to bury her brother , then they went away the village through water of Ulanga river, get away to Germans in an steamboat, the African Queen; they found a place to hide. There in the place, Rose and Charlie were thinking about what they would do. She wanted revenge, she wanted the Germans to pay for what they had done. She'd had a plan to sink the Queen Louisiana ( a German steamship with a huge gun) that prevents British (who were in Congo) to cross the lake to central Africa. For do it, they will use a kind of explosive and some cylinders that they found on African Queen. Then they got down the river to sink the Queen louisiana. A storm did rock the African Queen and filled of water and they had to pump the water. Following days they encountered many obstacles on their journey down the Ulanga river like thunderstorms. Rose was happy but Charlie told her his feelings, he thinks that this plan was dangerous; Rose was disappointed with charlie, and she seemed angry, she wanted that Charlie change his mind. They kept in silence ultil Charlie felt he had no choice but to obey Rose’s wishes. Then he said: “All right, Let’s go”and the African Queen moved to river.
I think that they will win the battle, and all people can come back the villages and be happy.

John Lockwood moved to a house called "Thrushcross Grange" whose landlord was a man named Heathcliff. John Lockwood decided to go and introduce himself with him, who lived a few miles away, upon arriving at his destination, a house called "Wuthering Height" noticed that the landlord had a somewhat strange appearance and attitude, however decided that it was convenient visit his landlord one more again, Then a few days later no matter the bad weather, which it still allowed him to leave the house, he decided to head to Heathcliff house, but when he arrives it began to snow heavily, servant opened the door and told him that Heathcliff was not at home, so Lockwood asked the servant to let him to warm up in the fireplace while he waited his came. For Heathcliff, it was not pleasant to find Lockwood at his house at that time of night, so he asked him to leave but the weather made it impossible. Lockwood then requested lodging that night, however Heathcliff was very annoyed by the idea. Later, Lockwood lived a paranormal experience, when Catherine ghost appeared before midnight, he did not understand what was happening. At dawn Heathcliff accompanied him to his house and he did not speak about what had happened the night before. Lockwood after that, he got sick, and his housekeeper, Nelly Dean took care of him, since she was a woman who had worked for Heathcliff for years, Lockwood decided to inquire about its history, She told him that Heathcliff was an adopted child of Mr. and Mrs. Earnshaw, whom during a business trip watched him wandering alone in the streets, Mr. Earnshaw had two children, an 8-year-old girl named Catherine, whom liked a lot Heathcliff, and 10-year-old boy named Hindley who in opposite hated Heathcliff and felt jealous of him. Heathcliff and Catherine lived many adventures together, in one of them, spying in the house of the neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Linton, they found a dog on their way and when they tried to chase it, dog bites Catherine's ankle. Catherine was aided by the neighbors and Heathcliff was called as wicked boy and a gypsy thief and expulsed from the Mr. and Mrs. Linton property. Heathcliff go with the housekeeper Nelly Dean to tell her what had happened, thus Hindley forbade Heathcliff to approach Catherine again. After five weeks in the "Thrushcross Grange", Catherine was teaching how to behave as a lady and transforming her appearance. Change was so dramatic that everybody was amazed when she come back to Wuthering heights on Christmas Eve., including Heathcliff, whom was humiliated in front Catherine due to he was dirty and cover of mud when she arrived. Heathcliff was too affected that he was crying since the embarrassing event and later that night asked Nelly to helping him to become a gentleman. Nelly among one of the servants clean and dressed him that night but Hindley found him in the kitchen and forbade him to join them in the Christmas dinner and ordered Nelly to lock him up in the Attic. Edgar got into kitchen and started mocking Heathcliff comparing him with a horse, Heathcliff took a pot of hot apple broth and threw it to Edgar, this made Hidley furious and full of rage, took Heathcliff and throw him to the attic while beating him up. Later, after spend one hour talking with Catherine, he swears that Hindley will pay someday what he had done to him. On the mid of following year, Frances dies after giving birth to Hareton. Hindley cannot stand and becomes miserly and careless with his son Heathcliff. Catherine on the other hand, after become 15 years-old, turned herself more arrogant and stubborn spending most of the time with the Lintons and less with Heathcliff. At age 19, Catherine received marriage proposal from Edgar and anguished told Nelly that she does not know what to do but that she had accepted the proposal because Edgar is a young, handsome and rich man and all the neighbors will be admired her. Nelly alerts Catherine to think about the future. Catherine confesses that her true love is Heathcliff but that he is a poor and poorly educated farm worker although it is the love of his life, his soul mate. Heathcliff who was in the kitchen leaves slowly from the kitchen and Nelly tells Catherine that Heathcliff had heard everything. Catherine comes out crying and running in the middle of the rain looking for Heathcliff but that night she could not find him.

Mr. Gabriel Utterson, a lawyer, used to take long walks in silence with his cousin Richard Enfield. On one of their walks, they passed an old dirty house, and Enfield told his friend a story about that house. A horrible story about a man named Hyde, who walked on a girl and did not worried to help her, however, that man had a relationship with a person well known in London.
Mr. Utterson could not stop thinking about what Enfield told him, and that night while he was reviewing an envelope he found that his friend, Dr Jekyll, in case of death or disappearance, would leave all to "a friend" of Mr. Edward Hyde .
Worried about his friend and his relationship with a criminal, Mr. Utterson decides to investigate more about Mr. Hyde and intends to meet him, however, he does not find out much, and the horrible appearance of Hyde and his visits to Dr. Jekyll's lab lead to Utterson to think that surely Jekyll is being manipulated in some way by this man.
Surely Mr. Utterson will continue investigating about Mr. Hyde and why he "manipulates" his friend, and for not listening to his cousin Richard might discover unpleasant things.

Rose and samuel lived in Central African Forest, Samuel was I'm dying, praying to God that his mission could finish, which was to become Christian, the villagers but the first world war began and the Germans attacked his village, taking the population as soldiers of this country.

Samuel was sad because the German took verything so I struggle, Samuel pray that the war will end and fell asleep.
