After I read my first book, I was obsessed with the concepts of fantasy and fiction. I’d ask my parents to buy me a specific novel series. They agreed, however they would only give it to me, in exchange for me doing well in competitions. As the competitive and consistent honor student that I am, I worked hard to earn the top spot in several Mathematics competitions. I would go to multiple tutors to enhance my knowledge, while also keeping up with current school requirements. It was stressful and tiresome as an elementary student but I managed to persevere. When I finally received my reward, I constantly kept reading. Finishing the series in just a matter of days. Although I had fun, sacrificing months of growth and development as a child for a week's worth of written fictional adventures is not worth it. As for the experience, It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well.
