A great built-in camera means we don't have to rely on stand-alone still or video cameras. Ability to integrate with pro-level audio I/O devices means that each student literally has a recording studio that travels with them.  Of course, apps like GarageBand, iMovie, Adobe Lightroom for iPad, etc.  make it all possible.  

Barriers:  Not many.  I'll get back to ya when I think of one.

I use iPad for tutoring SEIP student, & let students borrow my iPad to use in class if they don't have theirs. I also use my iPadfor Google classroom when pushing into gen. ed. for RSP services. It is problematic in the 
big picture when students either refuse to get an iPad, parent refuses to allow student to have an iPad, or student keeps "forgetting" to bring it to class.
