A lot of times, I'm quick to make a decision about a student without thinking about what they may be experiencing personally. I feel as if I would be able to tell about each student and what motivates them or what causes them to "shut down". I speak with most of my families regularly and that helps with classroom management because they know more about their student than I ever could. Also, personalized learning has helped me discover what motivates each student academically.
