     Before taking up Fine Arts, the only thing that would come up in my mind whenever "art" is mentioned would be painting. I did not know how to recognize and appreciate the elements of painting. Prior to learning more about painting through the module, I did not know how to determine if a painting is beautiful nor did I really give much thought whenever I would see a painting. 


2. What I learned on architecture after the module

     I initially thought that the backstory of a painting or whatever it symbolizes is the most important part of a painting but through the module, I learned that it isn't the only factor to consider. I learned that at looking into the elements of a painting, there is a connection with all the elements - from the patterns and lines, the connection that leads our eyes from one object in the painting to the next, and even the balance in all the elements in the painting. I learned that there is much to know about a painting by merely analyzing it, irregardless if the viewer does or does not have a good knowledge on the backstory or meaning of the painting intended my the artist who painted it.


3.  What else I would like to learn about painting 

     More than anything else, I would like to have a deeper understanding on how to understand and appreciate painting as a whole. I would like to be able to not only recognize the elements of a painting but how they attribute to the beauty of the whole picture.
