As a kid I never really paid attention to the toys truly being gender specific. Seeing how girl toys are advertised to mimic an adult woman's role was crazy and unfair. Little kitchens or doll houses were majority of the isle. I would rather my child to have the option to choose freely what toy they want to play with. And all the toys were either pink, purple for girls while boys have red, blue.
