열흘이 지났을 때에 보니, 그들의 얼굴빛이 왕이 내린 음식을 먹은 젊은이들의 얼굴빛보다 좋고 건강하여 보였다.

Thank you for loving us so much. Thank for being with us when we are in the middle of difficult circumstances. When things change, you are with us. Just like Daniel and his friends chose to obey God, we want to make wise choices and worship the One True God.

왕이 다니엘에게 말하였다. "그대들의 하나님은 참으로 모든 신 가운데서 으뜸가는 신이시요, 모든 왕 가운데서 으뜸가는 군주이시다. 그대가 이 비밀을 드러낼 수 있었으니, 과연 그대의 하나님은 비밀을 드러내는 분이시다."

You are almighty. Thank for being with me when I need help. Just like Daniel and his friends sought God’s wisdom, we also want to seek your wisdom. Please answer my prayers. We believe that you are One True God.

“Yes, Your Majesty, we certainly did,” they replied.

25“Look!” Nebuchadnezzar shouted. “I see four men, unbound,

walking around in the fire unharmed! And the fourth looks like a god

24 그 때에 느부갓네살 왕이 놀라서 급히 일어나, 모사들에게 물었다. "우리가 묶어서 화덕 불 속에 던진 사람은, 셋이 아니더냐?" 그들이 왕에게 대답하였다. "그러합니다, 임금님."

25 왕이 말을 이었다. "보아라, 내가 보기에는 네 사람이다. 모두 결박이 풀린 채로 화덕 안에서 걷고 있고, 그들에게 아무런 상처도 없다! 더욱이 넷째 사람의 모습은 신의 아들과 같다!"

Thank you for loving me so much and for wanting to spend forever with me in heaven. I want to trust you and obey you, so that your name can be glorified. We bow our knee to Jesus and we confess Jesus is our Savior.

다니엘은, 왕이 금령 문서에 도장을 찍은 것을 알고도, 자기의 집으로 돌아가서, 다락방으로 올라갔다. 그 다락방은 예루살렘 쪽으로 창문이 나 있었다. 그는 늘 하듯이, 하루에 세 번씩 그의 하나님께 무릎을 꿇고 기도하며, 감사를 드렸다.

다니엘은 마음이 민첩하여 총리들과 고관들 위에 뛰어나므로 왕이 그를 세워 전국을 다스리게 하고자 한지라

Then the other administrators and high officers began searching for some fault in the way Daniel was handling government affairs

이에 총리들과 고관들이 국사에 대하여 다니엘을 고발할 근거를 찾고자 하였으나

but they couldn’t find anything to criticize or condemn. He was faithful, always responsible, and completely trustworthy.

아무 근거, 아무 허물도 찾지 못하였으니 이는 그가 충성되어

아무 그릇됨도 없고 아무 허물도 없음이었더라

Thank you for loving us so much.

Your laws are always right. The Lord is our God, the Lord is one. Give us strength to love the Lord.

With the power of the Holy Spirit we can be trustworthy and faithful.

22My God sent his angel to shut the lions’ mouths so that they would not hurt me, for I have been found innocent in his sight. And I have not wronged you, Your Majesty.”

23The king was overjoyed and ordered that Daniel be lifted from the den. Not a scratch was found on him, for he had trusted in his God.

21 다니엘이 왕에게 아뢰었다. "임금님의 만수무강을 빕니다.

22 나의 하나님이 천사를 보내셔서 사자들의 입을 막으셨으므로, 사자들이 나를 해치지 못하였습니다. 그것은, 하나님 앞에서 나에게는 죄가 없다는 사실이 드러났기 때문입니다. 임금님, 저는 임금님께도 죄를 짓지 않았습니다."

23 왕이 매우 기뻐하면서, 다니엘을 굴에서 끌어올리도록 명령하니, 사람들이 다니엘을 굴에서 끌어올렸다. 그가 자기 하나님을 신뢰하였기 때문에, 그에게서는 아무런 상처도 찾아볼 수 없었다.

I want to be mighty by doing the things you want me to do. Please help me to remember that you will bless me and protect me when I am mighty. I want to put my complete hope and trust in You. I love you so much.
